    Hi Meg! This is very off topic from your video but I was wondering if you have any good recommendations for walking shoes and a day bag to bring? I want to bring a backpack for our day trips around Tokyo and other cities, but I'm worried the one I have now will be too big. :) thanks for any tips!

      As for the bag pack, I usually use like this for a trip.

    just want to share. we once bought an incorrect item from a popular tech store. we just found out after buying that the item isn't compatible to our device. when we asked for a return/change item, our request was declined.
    so takeaway here: research the item you want to buy thoroughly.

    Hi Meg, what age does a child need to purchase a ticket to ride on JR trains, buses etc?

    • @MegLog_JAPAN
      @MegLog_JAPAN  Před 7 měsíci +1

      If your child is over 6 years old, you need to purchase a ticket.

    Thanks for this video. This was very useful. I have a small query I was hoping to get some help with. I'm travelling to Japan in a few weeks. I intend to visit Tokyo and Osaka. Should I get IC cards for both areas? Or can I use one IC card for public transport in both cities? Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks for the informative and enjoyable videos. 😁👍🏾

      Good you liked it :) Ah so you just have one IC card, that's enough! Welcome Suica, Pasmo Passport or ICOCA.

      @@MegLog_JAPAN Thank you so much for the clarification. I was wondering if I would need more than one. But you've set my mind at ease. 😄
