Una meraviglia italiana. Qui ho passato i più bei periodi della mia infanzia e adolescenza. I miei cari nonni vivevano in questo bellissimo borgo. Spero di tornare per respirare la serenità e la bellezza di Allerona.

Beautiful little town, as is all of Italy when viewed on hilltops. I swear, you must take a flock of birds with you everywhere you go, because your intro aerial shots always have a flock of birds flying through right on cue! Gorgeous. I was thinking, if there is one thing that you have shown your loyal viewers, it's that Italy is so much more than Venice, Rome, Naples, Milan, etc. Those cities are full of beauty and history of course, but what you've revealed, and it's the reason why our trip to Italy next year won't include any of those major cities of Italy, is that you don't need a museum or a paid admission to find and experience history. Towns like this are paintings and museums brought to vibrant life, and we can walk right into those landscapes and see them from the inside. Living people live and work and shop here, and when we spend a little time around them, we are part of that history and that living painting for a short time, adding our own brushstrokes to the canvas.

Dear Ken, very glad to see you again and always happy to know you enjoyed the video and for your tuching words.... I'm truly touched to know that, especially considering the thing that... this channel truly started with the idea of showing the "forgotten" and unusual tiny towns mostly, and not the posh ones only. Perhaps they are not "algorythm friendly" nor they are searched and found of course, but I'm truly happy to know there are people like me who enjoy the "underdogs" which underdogs they really aren't if one digs a little deeper into their history and discovery what marvels there are around... After 2 full + years, it's becoming more like a "mission" now than ever before. There's A LOT to still be discovered.... I hope this journey will always continue and will be always a joy.

También lo disfruté mucho ... es una de esas ciudades "olvidadas" de Italia que trato de mostrar en este canal (en comparación con solo lugares "famosos" o "elegantes"). Realmente lo disfruté. Couldn't agree more Esther, truly a nice place, quite "hard" to reach I must say, as the roads that lead there are some of the most peculiar and deserted I've ever seen! But it was all stunning around. I had a nice chat with the curator of the little museum in the church and we talked a lot about the history of the churches... he built a small booklet about them which he gave me. Nice day, nice walking in one of those mostly forgotten towns of Italy

Allerona is a beatiful little city in a equally beautiful region. I like the way people decorate the front of their houses with plants and flowers. The city is clean and well cared. Searching I found it has just a 3 stars hotel wich is reasonable. In a city like Allerona the stars must be seen in the sky not in hotels.

Agreed Dana, replied to your other comments. These towns are dying.. and I am trying to make them known and shown... they don't deserve to die because they're beautiful.. it's unfair how beautiful they are and how little they are visited.. that's my goal for this channel... to help those places

Здесь вы найдёте очень много интересной и красивой архитектуры и истории!
Это не реклама канала, а моё скромное мнение.
