This locrian #6 or Locrian natural 6 is sometimes called a locrian scale with a major 6th. That's a very uncommon mode and you won't find example that easy.
It's darkness with a trace of light. The scales degrees of the Locrian #6 scale are tonic, b2, b3, 4, b5, 6, and b7. The tonic of this mode can be a m7b5 chord the root E the minor 3rd G the diminished 5th B-flat the minor 7th D or a fully diminished chord where the C# is enharmonically equal to the D-flat and served as a diminished 7th chord.

Mode 2 of Harmonic Minor: Locrian #6: Locrian #6 is 2nd mode of Harmonic minor scale. Locrian is the 7th mode of the major scale and it has a b6. Locrian #6 is the 2nd mode of the harmonic minor scale and the 6th note has been raised. and although this may seem like only a small adjustment. It's an interval of a #2. 3 semitones which is big for an altered scale. This gives the upper half of the locrian #6 scale an altered like sound.

The 7th mode of Neapolitan minor is even darker: Altered bb3 bb7. (Brightness quotient = -6)
The darkest possible heptatonic scale is altered bb3 bb6 bb7. It's the 7th mode of the Locrian natural 7 scale. (Brightness = -7)

    Altered bb7 darkest scale ever?
Maybe. I tried to figure it out
    Altered is darker then locrian.
Altered bb7 is darker then locrian bb7. There's only one other worthy competitor. Ultra phrygian (or other names)
    Phrygian b4 bb7
I know it's just a matter of opinion but I felt like it was a tie personally. I couldn't figure it out.
    Anybody?
    Altered bb7
    1 b2 b3 b4 b5 b6 bb7 vrs
    Phrygian b4 bb7
    1 b2 b3 b4 5 b6 bb7
I know there's other altered scales. I went all the way down to "double altered".
    Alt bb7 bb3
    Alt bb7 bb3 bb6
    Alt bb7 bb3 bb6 bb5
    Alt bb7 bb3 bb6 bb5 bb4
    1 b2 bb3 bb4 bb5 bb6 bb7
It appeared to me all the scales lost their musical value below altered bb7 and phrygian b4 bb7
    (Aka Alt nat5 bb7)

The parent KEY is C MAJOR/Amin
      Even if I played Bb lyd #6..as Bb, #4, 8, b10, #11 ( A Harmonic min b2)
      A min D dim G7 into C Maj F min Bb dim E7 into A min
E phrygain dominant b5 is from A Harmonic min b2
      I still played E7 into A min...borrowed from A harmonic min.
      it's not that complicated
      Aeo maj7 Harmonic min
      dor maj7 melodic min
      phry maj7 Harmonic min b2 = Bb lyd #6
      dor b2 = Melodic min b2 = Bb aug ( lyd #5 , #6)
      A min Bb, or D aug B min E7 into A min
      A min D aug Bb dim E7 into A min F Maj G7 into C MAJOR
or I can easily say I used the tritone sub of G7 or E7
      G7.........................E7
      G7.....Bb.......Db....E7
      A min Db dim D aug Bb dim E7 into A min C Maj7 F min Db dim G7 into C MAJ..
      i didnt shift keys to F min/Ab MAJOR ( I could)
