What do you think of these different organs and how they sound in the unique spaces where they live? Let me know in the comments below!

What a great presentation! I am so filled with a mixture of jealously, FOMO and pure admiration for your trip. Well, well done.

Thanks, Brooks! It was unforgettable, and I hope to go back again next year. I will say, the English organists were very welcoming and accommodating, so when you make plans to go there, don't be afraid to reach out to them (look at cathedral and church websites for their contact info, or their social media accounts) and ask for a little time to play. You'll be surprised!

Thanks, Jerry! And yes, pipe organs are certainly a language with many accents and dialects!

The structures that house these instruments are gorgeous, as are the instruments themselves. I wish I had a better sound system so I could hear more of the nuances of sound. Better yet, next time I’ll just steal a space in your checked luggage…..

Thanks! It's also difficult to capture with phone audio as well, so if I had brought along a better recording setup it could've been even better!
