Cathedral Ambience LIVE 2 | 1 HOUR of Calming Pipe Organ Music for Relaxation, Meditation, and Sleep

"Cathedral Ambience" videos started a couple years ago when I would record myself late at night playing the organ at my church in Pasadena, CA, and this content has taken flight here on the channel, so this year I decided to start doing them LIVE for you. Cathedral Ambience LIVE began back in February this year, and I want to do them once a quarter, so this is the second one ever! I'm exploring the softer and gentler colors of the Hereford Cathedral (UK) Willis organ, originally built in 1892, accompanied by my own personal pictures taken when I visited the cathedral in January 2024. The Hauptwerk software allows me to perform a virtual "sampled" version of this instrument from my own home, and is an amazing way to discover and fully play this and many other pipe organs from around the world.
As this program format is very different from my usual livestreams, I do hope this hour is one of calm, rest, relaxation, and soul soothing for you. Feel free to return to this video at anytime you need to drift off.

Love this channel - good to work to. Also, an interesting fact on the organ at Hereford - I visited the cathedral many years ago. The organ was restored in 1972 with funds from the local Bulmer company (makers of Woodpecker Cider) in whose honour a wooden woodpecker was sculpted on the side of the organ case.
