Hi , Thanks for giving information on Wearing brace . i done with my ACL surgery past 50days back . i am moving to work now , but doctor told me to wear brace always but iam facing problem when moving to work place and travailing in the bus . please help me brace is necessary after 50days ACL surgery ?

Commendations to MGH Orthopaedics for a great presentation on briefing the patient on the correct procedures for using the post-op brace. I had a post-op brace applied to my leg by an unqualified functionary who did more damage than good. She failed to apply the brace properly and she refused to answer my questions regarding applying and adjusting the brace or the correct postures for getting out of bed and using the walking aid. I sent a letter to the CEO of the hospital where this happened and advised him of the possible harm that I might have suffered and the legal risks to his hospital (Northern Virginia) when these medical errors occur.

What is the reason to unlock the brace? I'm allowed to adjust mine to 30 degree yet it only moves when unlocked. Is that how it is to work...
