- Bram Stoker's Dracula (SNES) All Bosses (No Damage, Hard). It is a 1993 video game released for the SNES. Based on the 1992 movie of the same name which in turn is based on the 1897 novel by Bram Stoker.

05:23 Boss 08 Renfield & Dracula (Giant Bat)
06:35 Final Boss - Dracula (Wolf Armour)
07:26 Ending
So the First Boss is an Evil Belmont? Nice xD
The only good thing about the video gaming versions of Bram Stoker's Dracula is the music, which is perfect for D&D's Ravenloft Campaign Setting, especially if were talking about The Masque of the Red Death, which involves Gothic Earth.
The 1992 movie became so well known back then even a pinball machine of Bram Stoker's Dracula exists, if only The Pinball Arcade still featured it before it got delisted...
05:23 did Riddler escaped from Arkham?
@@artioml958 LUL yes and he rode away in the roflcopter.
@@artioml958 yes, we're not supposed to talk about it
6:40 This is hilarious, look at that shit! Drac storming around the place like a jackass and this dude's just chilling in the corner, swishing his dagger in the most half-assed way possible and actually _winning!_ It's bloody great.
"Sir, how should we design the bosses for this game?"
"Make them three times the size of the player and have then constantly running back and forth like a 9 year old that just snorted cocaine. Speaking of which"
"Also, make sure they don't actually run into the player when they're up against a wall which would make the game impossible and just have them stop and go back to their corner so that the game won't be challenging at all."
Looks like Psygnosis made it. All their games look and play like this
@@youisiaint They typically have a much stronger art direction though. This looks like a rush job.
@@markkoetsier6475 to be fair the gameplay is usually fairly well done. They use a lot of huge, detailed sprites but there's not a lot of individual movement, just a big thing that either bounces or runs back and forth like James Pond or Shadow of the Beast
@@youisiaint They've done some good stuff too, G-Police was a pretty cool flight sim.
mom can we buy a castlevania?
no son, there is castlevania at home
castlevania at home:
That was my favorite part of the movie, when Neo fought the Dragon
Lol
It's pretty, and it's obvious the dragon boss in this game is a nod to Vlad the Impaler having an epithet known as “The Dragon.”
@@Starry_Wavedracul
Gimme a sec.
*checks the book*
Mhm. Mmhmh. Yes, totally accurate.
u telling me 12 feet tall dracula wasn't a thing?
@@dioshoes9096 even in castlevania he is big
yup. specially for the dragon XD
And the giant Dracula in armor as final boss. The best boss though is Drac (Old ) and the sound he makes when he shoots that telekinetic projectile.
Wait, those two last bosses were Dracula? WHAAAAT?!
These boss fights are as godforsaken as Dracula himself.
Keep this in mind people
This is also the storyline of Castlevania Series that is slotted between SOTN to Portrait of Ruin, this is also the story when Richter Belmont gave up being a Vampire Killer wielder thus the next rise of dracula were killed by order of ecclesia and that time belmont clan hid themselves and gave their weapon to morris clan, the first morris clan wielder of vampire killer was Quincy Morris only to kill the rival of Vlad Tepes. Then the second wielder is John morris whose life was sacrificed into whip in Castlevania Bloodlines and the third wielder is Jonathan Morris from Portrait of ruin where he defeated the memory of the last belmont to gain vampire killer’s strength
Aí dentro!
That final Boss fight was so intense!
XD
the new castlevania game looks great
Lol XD.
Sadly it's better than any new CV made in years
Dracula: hahaha, it's not a Belmont! Let's attack him multiple time!
hours later...
Dracula: ok fk it! i'm done
Meanwhile Shanoa, Jonathan, Maria and Charlotte: are we a joke to you?
Bram Stoker's Stand-In-The-Corner: The toddler punishment simulator
The real impressive thing about this boss rush is that you had the patience to finish this awful game.
I like this game
I love this game man
@@ntl9974 Fun Fact: This Game Was Playing When I 5 years (maybe)
This game was ass, especially that glitch near the end that kept taking your extra lives.
I loved this game

hee hee i drink your blood
If Keanu Reeves can play the part of a Nineteenth Century English property lawyer then I suppose a twelve foot tall Renfield who shoots spiders from his nose isn't all that far-fetched.
This is the closest thing to a John Wick game we got
My favorite part of the movie was when Keanu just punched the shit out of everyone
Their death animation it's longer than the fight. Also bosses exploting thats some classic shit that i love
Giant Gary Oldman just can’t outwit Tiny Keanu.
Want this published by the same division that did Smart Ball?
The Dracula (Gentleman) fight is a rich tapestry. Nicely choreographed fight.
Bram Stoker's Dracula is my favorite (vampire) movie since 1992... and I still laugh because of this game. Harker's attack essentially is sweeping a broom.
That third boss ate a lot a beans. Haha! Classic old games. Those were yhe days to enjoynand make fun of the game with their sound effects. 😂
Thought your avi was Katie Hopkins for a sec, then realized it was Oblivion dude.
Quoting a famous philosopher:
"What a shitload of fuck, what were they thinking?"
I was going to ask “Who programmed this game, Fred Fuchs?” And someone beat me to it.
fsfredrikson The Angry Video Game Nerd, right? If not, he certainly would. Oh, and if you’ve ever played AVGN Adventures, Fred’s name is actually spelled with a k.
I find it funny how the bosses are relatively easy.
Ah yes, the legendary game that gave us the famous AVGN meme
FRED FUCHS
Is it just me or would these boss songs work perfectly with Pelo's stock tales?!
Oh my God. This is from the 1992 movie 😂
However if this game was evident to the movie than the movie should be called Troll 2
Castlevania, this ain't.
Surprised you actually played through the whole game.
Edit: These bosses have zero strategy and creativity put into them...
What if this was an actual game of Castlevania, and the protagonist would be Quincy Morris
@@RanfyPina We got Castlevania Bloodlines for that.
Yeah. Aesthetically, they are beautiful, but the fights themselves could've had so much more to them.
@@MrDibara Definitely! If there was more thought put into how they fight, this game wouldn't be mediocre.
I like this better than castylevania
That dragon looks awesome.
💯
Dracula (gentleman) looks like the "Its Wednesday my dudes" guy
The lost Castlevania XD
Say what you want about this game, but it’s soundtrack is great
Credit where credit is due, some of those boss themes are fairly catchy. That's pretty much the only credit that's due.
this game looks awesome!! loving the horror games right now!!!
Fred Fuchs!
Dorelaxen It’s like the game was programmed by him!
I don't think the people who made this game knew how straight jackets work. Either that or I missed the part in the movie where Tom Waits turns into tentacled Hamburglar.
Wow..this is awesome...👍👍
The greatest of attacks, the waist-level horizontal karate chop.
So this is Frodo Baggins vs Dracula?
I would’ve demanded my money back😂
This is a cool game
Idk why but the animation style kinda creeps me out.
Game design 11/10
Mix between Castlevania and Shadow of the beast.
That weapon is feels like you're attacking with a butter knife!
2:22 awww those vampiresses don't make the terrifying scream/laugh that they do in the genesis version :T
Take a drink each time one of these bosses runs back and forth or forces you to run back and forth while waiting for an opportunity to hit them.
You'll be goddamn plastered before you even get to the first fight with Dracula.
Honestly, if only these bosses actually managed to reach the absolute end of the arena and HIT you, they might actually be challenging. But, no. Let's just sit on the corner and slash them everytime they get close enough.
A 10 foot tall Tom Waits that shoots spiders out of its eyes certainly terrifies me....
Just got the Genesis version and is imposible to not get hit by the first boss and Dracula gentleman. I am.missing something or they are different?
Nice
nice BGM!!
This is a game that says, "Not every game can be Castlevania."
I didn't even know what half these bosses were when I watched other videos until I saw the comments
Aw for Fred Fuchs sake!!
Lemme check the book for a sec.... *reads to check through Dracula*
Yep, just what Bram Stoker imagined when writing Dracula
I like this game!!!
My favourite part in the movie was Neo fighting Gary Oldman, who was shooting hadoukens
Dracula sounds like hes farting while unleashing his projectile
Mina would be proud.
Who is mina
@@taigayuuji3483 Oh I was thinking of Mina Harker from the book and movie as a ironic joke because Dracula gets killed in the game. But Mina was the one dressed in Green if you seen the movie, Dracula was also obsessed with her, I think he was trying to make her his 4th wife.
@@OmegaVideoGameGod 😮 btw thank for the information
@@taigayuuji3483 You're welcome, I've always loved the series and trying to explain it to others and having conversations as well. :) ~ Travis
One thing I find odd is that the final boss battle music continues to play even during the ending. But in the Sega version, a new song is used instead.
Too bad Jonathan didn’t have a knife handy in the movie when he met the brides. But he certainly learned an Ultimate Life Lesson: if your male, then NEVER, under ANY circumstances, allow a hemovore to perform fellatio on you!
What did I learn from this game?
If the enemy is a giant big monster......just stick to the wall, you are safe there....
Woof woof woof woof!!!
The snes version is so easy to beat even on the hard difficulty
I had this game but for the genesis. It looks the same but is the snes controls better than the sega controls? Or is it just better graphics for the sega and thats it?
The Genesis version also had a few differences for the boss battles. Minor ones, but it did.
The fight with tha chariot driver was easier, but the fight with Dracula's brides was a littlwe bit harder.
@@MrDibara thank you for replying. Yeah i noticed some differences but i have never played the snes version before. I can tell you that the sega version is no walk in the park. Its hard. Especially the level where the brides constantly chase you. Thanks so much. Hope you have a great day buddy. 👍
what? Je ne comprends pas mais je like c'est beau
I feel like you're padding the stuff out now, Serg. Btw, when's Shaman King Master of Spirits 2? Need to see you no-hit Zeke/Hao.
I never drink wine
oh no! Fred Fuchs!!
Dracula is a player if he has 3 brides.👩👩👩
At the same time
Please reboot this game and make it better
One of the hallmarks of a Psygnosis game: stupidly easy bosses.
Heh - they just used the same engine as "Shadow of the Beast"...
I could tell this right off.
Specifically Shadow of the Beast 2 - check out a search for it.
Still for the notoriously bad "3rd party cash grab" of game from movie merchandise they made something deserving top 20 range - good solid game construction of the very difficult to work early home computer boom that was tops in the console dark ages (nintendo's re-construction) and ported to later consoles. So good job for what was probably a small pile of cash they needed thrown at them!
There was a couple of times i thought you were slashing to the beat.
Why is Renfield 12 feet tall and shooting spiders??
Easiest final boss of SNES games, maybe, you only have to stay in the corner and hit him!
Well, now this was a one hell of a weird ass game...
Third, great vid as always
Happy Belated Halloween 🎃🎃🎃
The OST fits better in a Turrican game imo...
Unless the hero furiously write letters of indignation to his fiancé during boss fights, I don't think it's a faithful adaptation.
Edit: Well it does look like he's flaying a sheet of paper at them, so I'll give them a 6/10 on faithfulness.
Imagine a dignified but tense letter writing/correspondence game with this soundtrack.
Who is Lucy and Renfield and what relationships between this two and Dracula?
Lucy Westenra was Mina Harker’s wilder natured best friend. She’s the one that kept three suitors courting her for a while. Dracula seduces and feeds upon her over an extended period of time to sustain himself and get closer to Mina. Eventually in a fit of frustrated rage, he drains Lucy completely, killing her and causing her to rise as a vampire herself, the first that Van Helsing and the impromptu band of vampire hunters face together.
But of trivia, of those three suitors, the Texan Quincy Morris would be used by the Castlevania franchise to weld Bram Stoker’s novel into its own continuity, with Morris being the father of Bloodlines’ protagonist John Morris and grandfather of Portrait of Ruin’s Jonathan Morris. In the novel, Quincy actually strikes the final disabling blow on Dracula with a Bowie knife at the cost of his own life.
Renfield is Jonathan Harker’s predecessor, dominated and maddened by Dracula and sent back to England as a servant/scout. In almost every adaptation he’s found in an insane asylum and serves as foreshadowing of what’s to come.
It should be noted that the strange character designs here are owed to the costume design of the Coppola film. Eiko Ishioka was the costume designer and actually won a lot of awards for her work there. It’s completely wild and over the top, but it works for the weird fever dream atmosphere of that film. It’s probably my second favorite live action Dracula adaptation after the Christopher Lee/Hammer films, and it’s a really tight race between the two. Plus you get to hear Keanu Reeves attempt a British accent.
Did anyone played the Sega CD Version of Bram Stokers Dracula and enjoy it?
0:57 I don’t remember the Dragon 🐉 from the movie.
I had this one as a kid. It sucked but I liked it anyway.
Welcome to my house
fuck yeah i love castlevania
these bosses are hilariously trivial. idk if this game has a longer sword but the boss "fights" would be more braindead if it did.
