Toon Disney promos and bumpers (c.2004)

- Lots of between-show junctions from Toon Disney's Block Party, mostly around episodes of Sabrina: The Animated Series. We start with Toon Tips, in which we learn how to draw Gus from Recess, and then it's loads of promos for Lloyd in Space, Extreme Ghostbusters, Jungle Cubs, and the summer holidays' Morning Movie. I should point out that most of these promos repeat, but as the animated bumpers they attach to don't (at least not necessarily) I decided not to get myself in an editing tangle and just upload the lot.
Original broadcast date is anyone's guess - I'm not even 100% certain of the year. The Girls Aloud and P!nk background music puts it at 2003 at the earliest, and I think the logo in the bottom corner suggests it's around 2005, but I'll leave it to you in the comments to put me straight.

Yes, this would be from around 2004. A reason why a lot of the ads were on repeat was because this was broadcasted during the early hours of the morning. They would record the continuity and place it between the episodes. They would also do the same thing during the day as well. :) That segment on how tod raw Gus from recess was originally shown on CITV. In late 1998 (or 99 I can't remember 100%) they had a whole October half-term dedicated to cartoon production and one of the show they had was "drawn Your own Toons" as Fern Cottom of Diggit fame, presented the show and each day they had segments where they show you how to draw the characters. They repeated these segments on here (since Disney owns those) and just replace Fern's narration from the original. :) Thanks again ever so much for uploading this. :)
Ah, that explains it - it never occurred to me this was an early hours broadcast. Thanks for the extra info, as well as for sending the tape! I'm sure there's a clip on my channel from during that CITV cartoon production week, but I can't for the life of me remember what show it was attached to...
@@VideotapeFTW If I was to guess, probably Welcome To Ourty Fou as it would have been on around then, so that actually would narrow it down to 1999, not 98. You're welcome as always, I'm grateful for ALL the hard work you've done digitising these. :)

@@VideotapeFTW You're welcome as always. :) After seeing the clip though, that wasn't what I was referring to. That clip just has one of the actors from Welcome To Orty Fou draw the penguin character. I was referring to a week long program called 'Draw Your own Toons' that aired during the October Half term in 1999, which also looked into the making of Recess. That clip though you oinked was from the same era as when that was aired though. :)

Do you have that bumper from Cartoon Network in the 90s? The one with the man in the little car where funny things happen to his head as he dives past the road signs? I loved that one so much I recreated it in art class that year. I haven't seen that bumper in 30 years. 😢

Thank you so much for this, I love old Disney, this is from summer 2004 I believe. Since the logo change happened in May 2003 and lasted until it’s closure in march 2006
