  • The Low Country crew is at it again. In this episode, we see Tiny return for a banana, Emma saves a foal, Sam learns about the "balance point", and Abigail puts the first ride on Diesel. It's just another day at the ranch!
    Low Country Cowboys is your internet destination for ranch life, cowboys, cowgirls, great ranch horses, and just life outside. We are an American family living out our dream of living with horses, cows, and each other! Its not always easy or romantic, but we wouldn't trade it for anything. From starting colts, to training cutting, rope, ranch and rodeo horses, working cows, cooking, playing with the dogs, and raising wild deer!! This is a special life!!

    I am not a CZcams commenting kind of guy, but I just have to say how much I love your videos and how happy they make me. So cool to have something cool and positive to be able to watch to distract from the crazy, strange world we live in. Thank you! Keep it up!

    I really enjoy your " quiet" way of teaching! When you stay calm, your student, and horse can really learn!

      Hi Chris Rutter, I was scrolling through this channel and came across your comment and just wanted to thank you for watching. We hope to have some new videos out very soon, but in the meantime I thought you might like our sister channel, B1 horsemanship and our subscription website www.b1horsemanship.com. That's where we show the actual day to day life with these horses in an instructional type format. I hope you find some value in our content! thanks again. Richard

    Great job all around... I was more impressed with your mentoring of Sam, he was nervous, somewhat insecure (the colt felt it too)... You set him up to succeed, thus the colt succeeded... Nice save on the wall of the round pen, if Sam would of come off, they both would have receded... Great to see investment in the next generation. PS, raised two daughters who wanted to start colts... very successful, no tears....

    Why do you tell them whoa AFTER they stop? I don't understand that...

    • @LowCountryCowboys
      @LowCountryCowboys  Před 3 lety

      Hi Shelly Brown, when teaching these young horses what whoa means, it helps to say it after the stop. Over time we can transition to using whoa as a command. This saves us from having to pull on them too much in the beginning and keeps their mouths soft. Thanks for watching!!

    The horses in this video requested you watch some Rick Gore ~ Think Like a Horse videos. I’m only thinking about the horses here. I hope you take some time to better understand everything you’re doing in these videos, and horses in general, via the Think Like a Horse channel. Again, I’m just concerned about the horses, that’s all. Cheers🙂

    I have been training for 19 years and I have never had horses freak out and buck like yours. IF you do your ground work properly and thouroughly they do not have to buck..... I know, I know, its all exciting but horses do not have to get the freak out - out. I like your videos BUT just have a hard time with all the sneaking around the horses and the fact that you like it when they get the "buck" out. Be safe folks!

    I don't like you. You feels like typical aparthide precuros grandchild. Nowadays countryboy who has what he wants, who is whoever he want coz of its south times. Horses to you are like subject. Your kid in episode one or two has had no hit in d face by horse only coz of luck. One day he will be hard punished by horse coz of aapproach and train. Speaks me, middle europe foster-child.
