What's Your Favorite Potion?
Bottle of experience
The 8 min fire resistance.
That’s a tough one! They’ve all got their uses for whatever task at hand. If I had to pick one, I think I’d go with Potion Of Regeneration ❤️🩹 Tier 2.
Before elytra, slow fall. After that have not really used any.
Splash Poison II
Ever since I started playing Minecraft back in 2010. Brewing has been my ABSOLUTE favourite part, Have a great day!
2012 here, I feel old 😂
same
I was so excited when they came out with brewing on xbox 360
Brewing is one of my favorites too so many fun things to do and it can be insanely useful :D
Yep same! 2010 here as well and Brewing is just my favourite thing to do. Whenever I get on Multiplayer worlds with my friends and brother I'm ALWAYS the guy to go to for potions 😅
Man brewing is so underrated and it's so sad. A lot of potions are really useful and some are just straight up op. And a lot of them are cheaper then you think (ex. Magma cream from magma cubes, which are found sometimes in nether wastes and nether fortresses, but spawn like crazy in basalt plains and large bastions.)
Potions of slow falling are stupidity op in the Ender Dragon fight and if you raid an end city. You can literally fall from build height to bedrock and not take any damage whatsoever. I always drink a slow falling potion as soon as I get into the End.
Fire resistance is op particularly in the nether. You take no fire damage, so you can swim in lava like it's water, and it's really good for blaze farming.
Potions of healing are self explanatory.
Water breathing is op if you're raiding a guardian temple or doing something else underwater.
Splash/Lingering potions of Harming, poison, and negative tipped arrows are very useful for pvp and mob fighting.
Found your channel a week ago and it's quickly become one of my favorite Minecraft channels. Guides are easy to follow and understand, and it's straight to the point with no funny business. These are _perfect_ for new players and even older players like me. Also very tiny detail, but I like that you keep the Minecraft music playing during the commentary. Most CZcamsrs turn it off so it's nice to see someone keep it, and it's quieter so it doesn't collide with your voice or distract. Quality stuff my guy, keep making content I love it!
Thank you so much! I'm really happy you enjoy my content that much :)
I agree with everything but the potion of slowfalling. The difficulty it takes to move around with it defiantly helps balance out its benefits
@@Eyecraftmc I love your content Insanely... in my opinion it's the best...awesome work bro... thank you for all the effort u put into making such an amazing content for us.. much love ❤
Awesome info, and I agree, I found this channel a month ago and it has quickly become one of my favourite! So much quality information about the game!
Slow falling potion in game isn’t very useful but if I are playing cpvp then it makes it way easier
I remember reading on the Minecraft wiki that originally Notch had intended for cauldrons to be the way you make potions, which makes a lot of sense. The intent was for you to literally throw the ingredients into the cauldron to make them, and then scoop the potion out with a bottle much like you can in the current Bedrock Edition when you fill them with potion. The idea was scrapped since this implementation was either too buggy or just unintuitive (or both), so they made the Brewing Stand instead, which even fills three bottles at once much like how the cauldron has three fill levels.
Brewing is definitely something I need to get into, and now I understand it better. Thanks Eye!
Your Welcome :D
It'd be good to mention that harming/instant health (maybe regeneration and poison too, but I don't think so?) have the opposite effect on undead mobs, and which those are. The splash potion of health is a decent way to fight The Wither as it harms it and heals you.
Very True, although this video was more focused on the recipes and not the features of each potion
@@Eyecraftmc no because you covered how to get rid of potion effects with milk and honey bottles. thats a feature of potions
Minecraft really needs a Brewing and Stewing update…
Bedrock tipped arrows:
1 source = 16 tipped arrows
But for some reason if you use a stack of 64 on a 3 source cauldron it will convert all of them
one of the rare cases when I want a bedrock feature on Java edition (maybe it'll be added in the future like the observer block)
Bedrock’s tipped arrow crafting is 100x cooler
Another thing, if you give potion effects to a creeper and it explodes near you, you get the effects.
Splash milk bottles would be an insane addition to remove people's potion effects... Also a logical thing to add tbh
Was honestly thinking this myself too. Glad I’m not alone.
Normally I hate the look of automation in Minecraft, but a hopper over a brewing stand honestly looks really natural.
I usually make my brewing rooms witchy but this makes me wanna experiment with steampunk copper lab builds.
Legends know this is an "upgrade" of his first potion guide. Anyways great video
Yes I didn't cover everything in that video and this one is a bit more concise
@@Eyecraftmc I found you actually by searching for a potion guide and I found your first potion guide video. It was really helpful!
I have to say, your transitions are getting smoother~ Keep it up!
Thank you!
Great video! I didn’t even know that honey was an antidote for poison! Learn something every day from you 😄
Man brewing is so much fun. I love the complexity of making awkward potions, adding gunpowder and glowstone dust. It makes it such a fun activity
Bro i literally finished building my brewing room an hour ago, its scary how you always seem to know what we need next.
Sup man i just stumbled upon your channel today and j learned so much already and your soothing voice makes your videos definitely worth my sub
Incredible! Thank you for this!
Tyvm!!! This has all been very helpful.
I love watching your videos, when I watch them I’m either learning about all the new features in a recent update or just letting you explain to me stuff I already know in a way that keeps me hooked the whole time. Excellent videos.
Here some tip from a potion lover
1,dont make fire resistance just trade them from piglins
2,dont use turtle master 4 use 3 instead its less zoom in and longer time limit
3,never ever create regeneration potion a golden apple is easier to get and stackeble
4,most important of all have a nice day😊
Awesome video, all of them are great, but so far this is one of my favorites.
Your videos are so satisfying, yet so helpful. Keep up the hard work.
Thanks so much for this. I really struggle with brewing so this helped a lot!
Thanks for this straightforward and un-obnoxious video. I've never done any brewing in MC before and this really helped me understand how to get into it.
Thanks for the guid, potions can be so confusing and this video really cleared things up for me. I also like your videos alot because you show the system for whatever the video topic is in java and bedrock. You are my favorite mc youtuber, keep the videos coming.
You deserve much more. Thanks🥰
Thank you!
One of my favorite trick with potion is making "tipped arrow of slow falling" and then shoot myself to glide with elytra when explore new terrain or biome. Very very useful!!
Thank you, I needed this, wrote everything down, I never understood brewing
thanks for the guide
brewing is just so much fun. its sooo worth it and cheap too.
Love your videos fr
Thx!
3:35 ah yes the melon being crafted with pumpkins
Slowness is underrated. Works on everything and has saved me rom being surrounded many times. especially useful when combined with a piercing crossbow.
ThankYou!
Using a hopper on top of the brewing stand helps a lot, you can drop all the ingredients in one go
Does order matter in the hopper?
@@bradenhagen7977 yes, needs to be in the right order
Thanks
3:33 “And this is made with a glistering melon slice, those are crafted with golden nuggets, as well as pumpkins.”
Gold + pumpkin = gold melon
Useful, my favoutie server is about to open the nether!
Perfect Timing
Thnx
Thank learned some new tricks
i’m on my first ever smp with my friends and i always enjoy collecting items and saving them. once i realized that a majority of what i collect are used for useful potions i immediately brought out my brewing stand and made fire resistance, water breathing, strength and invisibility. all things that i know everyone will find helpful. next is to make some of the tipped arrows
Dude you deserve way more support and subs you deserve like a million subs your content is just so good and definitely should make more subs i subbed and turned on the bell
Always helpful and to the point, best mc channel! Could you make a mine cart with hoppers video please?
Interesting Idea!
Maybe a video about the functions of all mine cart items :O like how furnace minecarts work and such
thank u so much this is so helpful because brewing makes my brain swirl
I recently got back into Minecraft thank you legend. Imma cook potions
I always fancy myself a potion maker/bartender in the worlds. Not RP, but I’ll do an enthusiastic trade.
Your voice is so good I fall asleep when I listen to you
An actually good use for cauldrons is: Rain can fill them up, so you can make an infinite water source with 2 full cauldrons in a scenario where there is no water.
Your voice is so calming😭
You can also use splash water bottles to extinguish yourself or a small fire. AFAIK, works even in the Nether.
oh my god..
I was searching for a brewing guide a few hours ago
and I got nothing helpful.. now when I opened yt, I found this vid
thanks for posting this vid man I appreciate your hardwork ♥️
No Problem!
Tipped arrow before dragon fight in java (oh and yes the ones im talking abt are usefull in combat): get a skeleton spawner, make a simple farm, put powderd snow and get slowness arrows. u now have a great weopen for stopping your enemies, or mobs that are running at you
best minecraft channel
I hadn't player in over 10 years (25 yo) but picked up bedrock as a fun split screen game my partner and I can play together. Thanks for all the great tips!
What would i do without this vid?
Now all people inside servers run to me for potions , thanks I now got people to talk to! :D
3:35 are you saying you can make instant health potions with pumpkins? So glistening melons and/or pumpkins?
Java edition really needs those bedrock cauldrons, cause that use is sick
Whoa whoa whoa, cauldron gives infinite lava in Java now. And I love it :)
Since wandering traders use invisibility potions at night would a splash potion of invisibility be useful to protect villagers during a raid from vexes?
nice
I play the role of the mage or alchemist in my friend groups because all of them don’t understand brewing. And it’s not like I don’t teach them either 😂 I have to remind them “take your potions!” Every time they do anything
Whenever I play multiplayer, I always like to keep some harming potions since their damage ignores armor. Combining it with weakness and slowness potions and you're effectively unbeatable until you run out
Did you know that you can use dripstone to drip water or lave into a cudrian and it will automatically fill up after a while you can also just poor a water source above a cudrian and it will fill automatically its great for fill up your bottoms quickly and the lave can be used to smelt ores and make coal in a furnace or blast furnace
Just a random question but I'm newish to MC and was wondering if I break nob cages with a silk touch pick do I still lose the mob within it as I have a build idea I'd like to try out thanks
He didn't mention that healing potions/arrows hurt undead and harming ones heal them.
Also, does a potion of swiftness compensate for turtle master speed penalty?
can you do more streams on the smp. i really enjoyed the last one
I'll definitely consider it :)
Waiting for that gold farm video! 😊 if you already have one can you link it in a reply?
Until I heard him say it, I never noticed that the item is a glistERING melon slice instead of a glistENING melon slice. I assumed they were trying to say it was extra shiny or juicy or something. haha
There are 4 kinds of bastion, the one with nether wart is called housing, so the chance of nether wart in a bastion is one in four.
The bastion with the magma cube spawner is the treasure bastion, and you can bmfind magma cream in Bastions chest, and also from bartering in 1.16.1
Just wondering... The way you made the tipped arrows on bedrock, can I make them like how you do on bedrock but on Xbox?
I wonder why is it so underrated?
3:30 oops, glistening pumpkins sounds like a cool mod tho
Thanks for the thorough video. Man do I hate farming crap in the nether. Guess I won't be bothering with brewing. Perhaps if they made some of the potion effects more noteworthy, or increased their duration by an hour or two I'd be into it. As is they are pretty underwhelming for my play style.
I play in bedrock, so that means I can't get air with doors, so I use potions instead, I love having those ingredients in my ender chests and go adventuring, especially after the 1.18 & 1.19 update where there's more giant caves and I can bring my night vision and underwater breathing potions with me, the best
An important note for mobs. Undead mobs, like zombies and skeletons, is that they get the opposite effect from som potions. Harming potions heal them, Healing potions harm them. Regen and poison are also inverted. This unfortunately makes it so that harming arrows are somewhat useless.
I have every single potion made in both regular and splash variations, and I still thought this vid was good.
Bro your videos are awsome but i wish all videos had subtitles in all languages
Nice outro with the potion in a hot tub
Note to self: drinking milk in the middle of a lava pool is a bad idea
Me, an intellectual: Drinks honey right after drinking a potion of the Turtle Master.
Goat 🐐
I really wish they would expand on potions and the whole magic side of minecraft in vanilla
Maybe an end update could add more brewing ingredients
15:30 you can use cauldron for infinite lava source
I'm surprised you didn't mention decay arrows from bedrock fletchers.
There is on bedrock edition a potion called potion of decay, it gives you the wither effect but cannot be made in brewing stands just like the potion of luck and only found in the creative inventory.
Well you can find it in witch huts but very rarely
Something interesting about instan health potions. They actually damage zombies and skeletons
Hii pls make a video on shaders and textures for all minecraft version i.e minecraft java , minecraft bedrock and minecraft pe
if i throw a weakness potion at pillagers or skeletons/zombies creepers will it affect them?
Glistering melons are made with gold and pumpkins? 3:33
Something that needs to be pointed out is that undead mobs heal from potions/arrows of harming/instant damage while they receive damage from potions/arrows of healing/instant health.
Can u do a another house tutorial?
3:34 i'm not getting any melons from my pumpkins
spreading misinformation!
i know you meant melons, not pumpkins but i'm still gonna laugh about it
You can use the cauldron for automatic lava farm tho
this made me brewing easier
3:37 glitzern melons are made of gold nuggets and pumpkins
I wish you could brew potions to shape shift into animals. A spider potion would be like ladders everywhere. Bird or bat potion = flying. Dolphin potion. You get it. And you would actually turn into the animal. But it would also be funny to add effects like "binding" where you would have to die in order to remove potion or you would have to get another player to splash you to turn you back to human. Haha drops this halloween after RTX and official ps5 version drop in Sept.
I liked give the witches their medicine with throwing poison potions
