Thanks for the video. I’ve been searching for advice on how I can get to the floor cleaner/ tools button as it popped off and I can’t get it back on. Your video showed me how to get access.. cheers

Terrific video. So clear and precise with regard to the steps for dismantling and the sequence of how to remove what screws and their location. Please send it to those idiots at Bissell.

Thank you for your excellent and easy to follow video. I had the exact problem you had, now fixed. The part was $20 on eBay, it all worked out! I replaced the two belts at the same time.

Glad it was able to assist you with your issue. As you found, when doing this job, it is a good time to replace the belts too.

Great video. I'm not sure if I need to replace my pump. It does not spray and I have water coming out of base just under pump area. Looking at the pump from the belt side I see no water. So I guess I'll remove top to see it better. Does that sound about right?

Be sure to thoroughly clean your unit after using it to ensure long life.Vacuum your carpet thoroughly before running any carpet machine to prent clogging .this will give you longer belt life.string and hair put unnecessary load and strain on the belts that get wrapped around it.

Hi, was wondering what to do if everything seems to work but the water isn't coming out of the bladder to the carpet? I did notice, when I turned it upside down that a hose seemed clogged with what I think is calcium? Is this an easy fix? Could u make a video about replaceing this kinda part?

I actually have another machine that I use for parts. I would think that you would be able to find one on eBay though.

Do you know what causes these pumps to go? My bissell is not even a yr old and the pump broke. Am I doing something wrong?

There a lever on the side for hand tool or floor cleaner. It opens or closes depending on the settings you want. I hand to replace mine for 6 bucks. Easy fix
