That and our midfield Mainoo is 18 playing pretty much by himself look how many times he’s been left alone in the midfield cause the other 2 midfielders end up out of position. Leaves gaping holes for teams to exploit. No left back the entire season and a midfielder cb and rb playing there at points this season as well

We do have a style of play and you can see what the manager wants to implement but it’s clear to see we do not have the quality of players to execute the style of play. Our midfield doesn’t have the legs and quality at times. Our defence also struggles with playing out from the back as evident today. Our style of play originated from the back line and a lot of United’s defenders don’t have the vision or quality to progress the play.
Back Ten Hag properly and not half assed and we will surely see the difference and major improvements.
Also Mason Mount is showing why Ten Hag went for him in glimpses, the pieces are starting to fit.
Ten Hag just needs time and the “plastic fans” need to find other things to hate on when it comes to Ten Hag.
Ten Hag is the right man for the job.

You Utd fans have lost it. You can't be objective any more. You need a scapegoat rather than admit everyone plays a part. Ten Hag DOES NOT have a pattern of play. And there isn't enough creativity.....there is no passing game to get the ball to Hojlund. Do you even know what a manager does? He trains every week HOW you are going to play during the game. If you can't see it in the matches...it's just not there.

Let’s take it a few years back when Arteta was being pushed for the sack because “people couldn’t see his style of play”, he was a “fraud manager”. Arteta Out they said. We can’t see what he wants to do with this team they said. But they have him time and Arteta got rid of the players that weren’t up to standard and could not play his style and now look. Premier league title contenders. Of course with Ten Hag you’re not going to see the style of play plain in sight because we have washed and old players…also players that can only play one style of football which is counter attacking. You can coach and coach and coach till you blue in the face bro but if players cannot deliver the quality or carry out your instructions how on earth are you going to get the team to perform???
Don’t look too far though…let’s look at Ten Hags past three games. He had a counter attack game plan which worked to United’s strengths in an open game…however game management was awful. You could see Ten Hag instruct his team against all three teams including Liverpool today, HOLD THE BALL…pass it around but hold the ball. Clear as day especially against Chelsea that was his instruction as the camera panned onto him and you could make out what he was saying. Quality let us down…players lost possession and gave away the ball putting them in stressful positions which cost us in ALL THREE GAMES. Ten Hag is not counter attacking. That was Ole Ball.
The man wants to keep possession overload the midfield and release the wide players to feed the striker. Proof of this is our wingbacks play narrow in midfield to allow our midfielders the freedom to roam freely and create line breaking passes. Do you see our midfielders constantly moving to create space? No. do you see how easily pressured our defence is especially with Maguire and Bissaka carrying the ball? Our possession gets lost way too easily. Massive difference when Martinez is there he can play the ball through midfield he almost takes a 6 role as an extra midfielder playing high and pushing our midfielders up overloading opposition. Okay now let’s go wide. Garnacho is our only winger that can dribble and create chances. Antony is too one dimensional constantly passing back. Where is our midfield again??? Absent…lost. You can see instructions haven’t been followed. Our defence to midfield in attacking build up has been our massive downfall this season. Defensively too.
We don’t have the quality and no amount of coaching is going to improve washed legs and fitness where there’s none. The pace of the premier league is too much for the likes of Casemiro, Eriksen, Amrabat, Maguire, Bissaka, Evan’s, Shaw, McTominay, Sancho etc etc look how many players that is. How are we expected to see style of play when we carrying ten years of bad decisions and panic signings by Arnold and crew??? We should be far worse than what we are but Ten Hags coaching has got us 6th. More than we deserve right now.

We've dropped 7 points in the last 3 games while leading. 7 out of a possible 9. I've always said to give ETH a chance under INEOS' charge, but I'm increasingly in doubt. Especially if he keeps saying that it's ok to concede so many chances to the opposition. If you want to be league champions, or even just winning a minor cup, you cannot be giving your opposition so many shots at goal every single game. Even David de Gea in his prime would have trouble keeping clean sheets if you continue to play like that.

Are Maguire, Lindelof, Evans, quick CBs to cover the oppositions runs in behind not to mention the absences of Martinez, Shaw, Malacia, Bissaka.
Hence the reason a big gap in the midfield. Ten hag Cant play high press with these defenders, so the logical thing to do for the defenders is to stay back and guard the runs. And you cannot attack with just 4 players upfront these days you need the midfield joining in to build up play. Hence these gaps. If he gets the players he wants this summer and clears out some deadwood then we can better judge Ten hag style of play etc.

The way we play is like how Ferguson plays the Manchester United way. Why our games our most exciting but other games have improved and we haven't got good players to do that. I think we need a better midfielder, someone who can dictate the tempo of the game, keep the ball-it's not like Liverpool's defence tactics was great, it's more like we were just handing them the ball and moving to an all-out defense. Surely we can get at least 10 decent passes per attack.
Please stop over rating Harry Maguire, Rio. He has improved, no doubt, but he’s not a ball-playing defender. There were moments in the game where his reaction and response, both were slow and sluggish. Willy is a good prospect and it would have been great to retain Mengi, but we need a ball playing younger defender like Tapsoba and/or Todibo. Unfortunately, Licha has become injury prone, but I hope he comes back strong.

We need a new coach and I think we need to start playing 4-5-1. Remove the Bruno role and playing 3 true midfielders. Two deep lying and one CM whose limit is to rarely go past the middle third. Means we defend and attack mainly out wide, and we're always too compact to be run past.

Surprised even Rio is trotting out the line that there is no style of play. I think you can see what it is BUT we’re not able to execute it well enough. Quality & squad depth is & has been a problem for a long time now. The players don’t make the right decisions all the time, especially about whether to attack or hold fire & rest on the ball, which leads to it looking like kamikaze chaos football as Rio called it. I don’t wanna do it lol but I have to draw a parallel between where we’re at, and that moment when bare Arsenal fans were calling for Arteta to get the sack…now look at them! When there’s been a lot of very questionable decision making…it takes time to bed all the ideas in, get the right players in (IQ & physical capabilities) and get the wrong ones out. Easier said than done but we need to be more patient, especially now it looks like the club is being run by people who want to win and aren’t just satisfied with champions league money.

I think the solution to this man utd mess is to fire Ten Hag NOW!!! because he has lost the dressing room, rarely uses youth, a rigid coach who uses the same sytem every time despite failure & doesn't like squad rotation, then on temporary basis bring a good vibes coach to pamper these prima donnas they might finish top 6 then in summer bring a no nonsense coach like De Zerbi & carry out a PROPER CLEAR OUT. One good thing with De Zerbi is he can do wonders with youth and average players....united won't require superstar signings he will work with talents like Openda, Jonathan Davids, Ivan Toney, Vlahovic, Brahim Diaz, Sergej Milenkovic, Ousmane Diomande, , Johan bakayoko, zubimendi, Latin America talent, replace Rashford with mitoma, Neco Williams or Leao etc
The only players who can raise big revenue are Shaw, Rashford and Bruno SELL THEM!!! The market is flooded with their replacements
