Coachella Music Festival 2024 kicks off in Southern California

The 2024 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival kicks off this weekend in Indio, California and will run for two weekends: April 12-14 and April 19-21.
This year's headliners and main acts include Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat and Tyler, the Creator along with performances from J Balvin, Sublime, Peso Pluma, Jhené Aiko, Deftones, Lil Yachty, among others. Gwen Stefani and No Doubt will also reunite onstage for the first time in nearly a decade.

Indio is one of five small towns in the California desert.

Located near Palm Springs. Years ago it was more important than it is today. They have lots of open spaces. It's held in April because in July and August it's 120 degrees.
