I have this bag and love it. But I will say for anyone considering it -- the clasp requires two motions: pull out (to release the magnet) and then down. I thought the distortion of the flap when carrying it top handle would bother me, but I've decided to just consider it a feature and enjoy the bag! And I personally like the slouchy look, though I feel like it's not bad once my stuff is in it. This isn't a criticism of you - I totally get why someone might not like these things! I just wanted to encourage anyone who might be considering it! :)

For anyone looking for more info, I got this bag in mini size two months ago. I have to say it is the best small bag i ever bought. The top handle has no problem handle the weight of the bag and the leather holding up pretty good. The closure is kind of difficult, but it is not something cannot get used to and I like how safe it is in crowded environment.
Guuurl, One thing about that Chloé F.D. which compliments you and looks a-MAZE-ing on you is the colour. Be sure to swap it with something in that exact same shade with that same soft gold hardware.
Ok so for the ones that are saying the opening is hard, I think you are not doing it in the proper way, the bag is actually super easy to open. You have to pull the magnet up and then slide down ... super easy. If you are juste trying to slide down as shown in the video, it is normal to have resistance + you destroy the flap doing this ...
charlotte lrc what your describing is exactly like the lock on the Celine belt bag (which I have three of) and have no problem opening. This one had a magnetic feature as well as the up as the slide up and down and the magnet was very very strong. I have also been told they have change the closure slightly so in the newer models it’s much easier to open. But it’s great you don’t have that problem and the bag works for you! Everyone has different likes and dislikes in a bag 😊
My friend just bought this bag with small size in leather last month, she has same problem with opening. I think the fashion house doesn’t think this part. Thank You so much for sharing the information. Love the video.
LUXURY LOVER the opening is so difficult. I was told when I bought the bag it was to make it harder to get into and safer from your belongs but really it’s just annoying 🙈

You are certainly correct in pointing out that a smaller size would mitigate the creasing, and certainly the heaviness. In general I avoid big all-leather handbags as they do tend to get heavy fast!
BAGHAG DIGEST ugh I know the audio- I tried like ten ways to fix the file but it was corrupted somehow and by that point I no longer had the bag to refilm it lol. And yes I think a smaller version would hold up a lot better! Plus just subscribed to your channel as well 😊

Grace Cardenas I think the mini might be okay because it’s not as much weight on the top handle. But if you don’t like slouching at all then I would recommend staying away from it because of the leather

Chicprofessor I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the same leather! I was just sooo disappointed with the sagging which I know isn’t an issue in the regular Chloé Faye! And I hope fashionphile works out well for both of us!
I have just recently purchased this bag in the small size and its one of my favorite bags. The handle does do a little of what you are describing here but perhaps not as much as the medium size. I wonder if your clasp was faulty? Mine is easy to use.
Taylor White so i very consciously kept this bag away from dark denim. I noticed with Chloe’s leather since it’s softer it really picks up colors easily. If your worried about color transfer I would say either treat the bag before u use it (which will help but won’t totally prevent it) or go with black/ a darker color.
I have this bag in small size and in black and love it. Black was the safest option for me. My leather hasn’t slouched yet and I have had it for 6 months but I only wear it on the weekend and don’t pack it too much. When I’m not wearing it I carefully store it in its dust bag.
Sarry Mourad ahhh good to know! I do think the smaller sizes will hold up better. This is the medium and I think the weight of the bag is what really caused the slouching. I do keep all my bags stuffed when not in use too but as soon as I would go to wear it all the slouching 😑

this is exactly what happens to my ps1 medium by proenza schouler. i have to basically clutch carry it or cross body (and the straps come off the hardware, which is annoying). i will regret parting with the bag, but i honestly just do not use it as a result.

It’s not meant to be a structured bag. I think it is beautiful. But to each their own.
I saw the Tess Day Bag in person. And I could not open it. I was afraid I’d break it! I just wish it was a simpler way of closing the bag.
