I bought two lovely heathy ranchu in that open day, one red white buffalo and one chocolate ranchu. 3 hours round trip is well-worth it.

I been there three time. Super-duper gold fish they have. I bought some Oranda back in 2015/17. Now 2021 fish price rocket to the sky. I go local shop. Please Starfisheries, look out for your price. many thanks

What are your thoughts on keeping fancy goldfish in ponds? I'm in the south west, so it's quite warm. The pond is in a south facing garden, in the full sun, and is about 5ft deep.

That place had some amazing fish. But unfortunately the prices are through the roof! I wouldn't even be able to afford one Goldfish never mind a colony. £175 for 1 Ranchu. And those are the cheapest. Saw some there for 300 ! Do people actually pay that for a Goldfish.
The prices started at £10 for the small fish. Unfortunately the prices of everything has shot up now 😕
@@AquaticElements Thanks for the reply. From what I recall hes awlays been on the expensive side, however you cant fault the quality. The problem I've got is I'm in Jersey channel islands and its difficult to get good quality Goldfish over here as nobody specialises in them. Do you know any good breeders you can put me on to that could ship some over to me? Thanks

Those orandas are too big for such tiny tanks. That's awful. They can barely move. Wanted to like this video :(
They are in these tanks for 1 day only for the show/event. They are then put back into their larger holding tanks before going to new owners
