I thought PawPaw would be a town to look at moving to. Your video was great and u mentioned it's bike friendly and very few wrecks, like my home town. Thanks for your videos
...nice tour Snubby...the Appalachians are a beautiful place...always wondered when I watched "The Waltons" if people really thought the Virginia mountains really looked like those scruffy old Southern California hills they shot the show in...
Hey, thank you so much for this video. I grew up in Paw Paw and move to Utah about six years ago. I've been wanting to take my husband here for a while now but it's just not in the cards for the foreseeable future. Thank you!
My parents grew up in Paw Paw...(heck, all my relatives did)...but then moved to Baltimore. I left Maryland in 2009 and came west to Salt Lake City for work. I haven't left. I love these mountains too much.
im inmartinsburg but have been through paw paw. small quiet place. not much to do. i wish there was a highway or somethingtoconnect to martinsburg cause i would move out there or buy a house. martinsbugr is becoming crazy! morgan county is nice!
There are gravel and dirt roads in the area that are little more than jeep trails. Just over the state line in Maryland at Green Ridge State forest there's places you can reach only with 4wd and some decent ground clearance. We like to go camping back in the woods there.

You're welcome. We might have seen each other somewhere around town back then.

I found out about Paw Paw, WV through the Door Dash Driver app. One day I might make the drive up there from Ashburn, VA.
My High School was in Ashburn, Va.
That's awesome!

This is a long way from my home in southern West Virginia.
Damn. Take a full tank of gas to get gas.
Hanging out at Avalon, eh? :)
Yup, in fact we're going there this Saturday.
My home town lol
Question did this start out on owl hollow road?
Yes it did.
I’ve got family up there....moved from SC back in the 70’s or 80’s I believe. Tomlinson’s or Floyd’s, not really sure.
I hope to be moving to Paw Paw
It is beautiful out here, 'specially now with the nearby ridges covered with Fall colors.
