I miss your horse videos. I’ve been watching you for years. I don’t have the time to watch your lives, but really enjoy the shorter videos. You’re the reason I first got on CZcams.
Honestly people get so shitty when you call them out on their cruelty to horses. Using them in sports, using pain bits and whips, putting them in tiny stalls and wondering why they get impatient with their baby. Then people call you stupid for calling it out
Hello Mr Gore. This is a letter of thanks. My name is Murat and I am from Russia, namely from the Caucasus. My region is called Kabardino-Balkaria, and before the conquest by the Russian Empire in the 19th century, it was called Cherkessia. Our people in those years became famous for having one of the finest light cavalry in the world. Our ancestors bred a Breed that is known all over the world, namely the "Kabardian". Herd horse breeding is widespread in our region and almost every house has a horse, but that's all. People are very ignorant when it comes to horses. We do not have such conditions and such a developed equestrian industry as you have in the USA. I bought my first horse 3 years ago and have been interested in them ever since. We still drive horses, as in ancient times. They break at the age of 2 years. This seemed abnormal to me and I started looking for information about horse training. The first book that opened my eyes was Monty Roberts. And since then I have read and reviewed a bunch of books and videos. And relatively recently I came across your video on CZcams and now I am wildly delighted. There is so much useful information on your channel and on your website! I watch your videos and read your articles through a translator. And I am writing this letter using a translator, so I apologize for the mistakes.) I really like your approach and the way you treat horses. In general, I wanted to thank you very much and wish you continued success. If you ever find yourself in Russia and in our area, know that you have a grateful student here who will gladly receive you as a guest. Sincerely, Murat
Rick, I'm just sassin you: Did you go back out and dry Buddy off or give him hay to warm up? Buddy has to work on his sympathy cuteness, he's getting rusty. Have a great day, Laural
They are trying to get thier body heat up. Give them each a small flake of alfalfa..my boy does that here in Florida when it rains and the temp drops...once he starts the eating process of alfalfa in about 15 min.... it stops... hope that works...it just builds up heat in them
Morning Rick! Nice to see the boys. Where I am people put blankets on their horses, and then the weather turns nice and they ' forget ' to take them off.
That is worse and is more harmful to a horse than it shivering for an hour. As long as they can stand somewhere dry and out of wind they usually warm up quick. Their bodies are built to cope as long as they are healthy
I’m near you Rick here in North Texas, and it’s like a blast of winter today. I went for a walk and was soaked to the bone and cold. But the horses will get warm from the bacterial fermentation from the food you gave them❤
I’ll be honest…I re-blanketed my horses two days ago because they lost their winter coats and the temperatures really dropped even down to freezing at night and it’s super rainy.
Had my largest horse shivering bad like that too a few weeks ago while the same age mares were not at all. He is 21. Brought him into barn & fed him good alfalfa hay. It was a good 1/2 hour before he stopped shivering. If he had not I might have had to bring him in the farmhouse so he could stand by our LPG fire stove so he could warmup. He is a Seattle Slew line horse & is very smart & so is kinda rare as his sire & dam are no longer alive. Typical weather for us here in Oregon! 50f or 55F with winds. That wind chill plus cold rain takes a lot out of a horse. Sometimes for long periods of time with our wet soggy ground with strong winds & heavy rains you just have to keep them protected from weather in a barn. Right now we`re all celebrating!!! Sunny skies with the ground FINALLY drying up after a long wet winter with temps at times going down to 10F! Have you seen Ron Widen`s speech about the proposed expansion of FISA acts? Might make an interesting analysis for your other channel.
Had my four horses shivering too yesterday. They already lost most their winter coat, and it was really warm. And then temperature really dropped and it rained and was super windy. As they are all seniors and arthritic, they all went in with some blankets to get warm
wouldn't your horses appreciate a dry place with straw to lie down, esp. when it rains? considering the climate is getting crazy in the next decades, why not make them such a shelter, or expand this feeding shack a bit to protect from at least 3 sides of storm and put some straw in.
Hey Rick, Poor Buddyboy and Ransom all wet 😂Happy you got some rain, sure greens the pastures up nice! I've had lots of rain too, it's cooled down but will be dry for about a week. Sending lots of love to you and the boys ♥ Cya at 7 Texas Time 🤠! 👍
Your place looks so green and luscious, Rick! Buddy watching you as you walk away was so funny-he doesn't miss a thing-smart horse. Little Ransom is looking good as well. The chicken is taking Stewie's place. Should name her Nugget 😊 Thanks for the horsy video. Keep on keepin' on!
Thank you, Rick 🥰 Like us, horses will shiver to keep their muscles warm in case they need to run from a predator. If they have fat reserves, they should be just fine. I think Buddy and Ransom will cope 😉 I love seeing your boys ❤ Can we have a closer look at your pond sometime, please 🙂 Extra hugs for your boys and have a lovely, relaxing day, Rick 🥰🥰
So wonderful to see a new horsey video from you! You have a chicken friend now too?! Yay. The boys are looking good squabbling like buddies as usual and I love the way you narrate / teach us. Thanks for sharing. Hugs from Southern California. ❤😊
LOVE SEEING the horses ❤ especially Buddy he’s officially my therapy horsey 🎉 I watch SO MANY of your old videos of Buddy & Mr. T ❤ I miss seeing Buddy & your shenanigans together. Mr. T taught Buddy well as the High Horse 🎉 I remember the owner of Ransom saying “he” was aggressive towards food/treats. Glad Buddy is the High Horse now…❤
I use to check for your videos everyday but had just about given up when this posted. I have really missed Ransom and Buddy.I hope to see more in the future.
Hey Rick, Has your like button broken.. it says N/A 😮 for people who has liked your CZcams clip.. 🤔.. i guess the like button has a bug 🐛 lol hope you and your critters are all well.. best wishes
I love the way you care for your pastures. It's sure pleasure to watch your horses enjoy the grass that you've nurtured. I dislike weedy pastures for horses and most people think they should do nothing that the pasture will take care of itself. Your pastures are so satisfying.
It was raining a few days ago really hard where we are at in the West Indies. The fillies were all cold and shivering. I was surprised at how cold they got. We had to build a fire for them.
I miss the thunderstorms! Off topic question Rick. Did you want to try the "Total contact saddle" for your boys? I heard it's better than original saddles. It's like a padded cinch that goes over any saddle pad.
Dog gone I've missed all the boys! Glad to see you all are well. So, because you gave them a snack is that why you didn't give a flake of alfalfa for the shivers? Or is that a bit of micro management in the big picture. The boys won't waste away from a bit of spring shivers. Be well dude! ❤❤
I’m just curious-why did they get a whole apple but not a whole or half carrot? I’ve been cutting up my apples and carrots but if I don’t have too cut the apples I can avoid getting all sticky taking it out to them..
I miss your horse videos. I’ve been watching you for years. I don’t have the time to watch your lives, but really enjoy the shorter videos. You’re the reason I first got on CZcams.
Glad you like them!
I miss these type videos too

The sound of horses chewing combined with rainfall is one of the most lulling sounds I know.
Good morning Rick Ransom Buddy and chicken.
crack me up and chicken funny you made my day with your humor
Ransom was going for Buddy's stash in the corner 😄
Rick, I'm just sassin you: Did you go back out and dry Buddy off or give him hay to warm up? Buddy has to work on his sympathy cuteness, he's getting rusty.

Good Mornings Rick and boys!
He heard you crunch! That was cute. 🐎🥕
Good Morning Rick! Good Morning Buddy, Ransom, Smokie, & Chicken. Beautifully Wet Yard!!!!!
You place looks great Rick. Always good to have some horsey time!!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing.
I can’t stand watching my horses shiver. Out comes a light rain coat and once they stop it can come off.
Nice to see all the green grass and leafs on the trees. Here in Winnipeg it is still dull and no greenery.

Thanks for the video, Rick. I enjoyed that.
Rain, damp air and chilly weather. Brrr.. I'm shiverin' too.
Buddy is only shivering with the excitement of eating carrots Rick.
The munching appeals and carrots mmm.
Great to see Buddy & Ransom! A nice rainy day at the feed bin.

Rain + Chill + wet = shivering. Especially if they’re older or sensitive. Take in to account the feels like temperature.
Watching you guys is like meditating
Well kept paddock👍
Thanks for the horsey video RICK. ❤ TO you BUDDY & RANSOM. 🍎 🍏 RAIN sounds soothing.
Good morning Rick and The boys 😊

Sooo funny that now Buddy is the slow eater compared to Ransom! Ol' Mr. T would be proud of Ransom the vacuum! 😂
I use to check for your videos everyday but had just about given up when this posted. I have really missed Ransom and Buddy.I hope to see more in the future.
I really like any of your horse videos short or long.😊
Hey Rick,

Hi Rick. Love seeing the boys. Looking forward to your Live tomorrow.
OMG Riiiiiick, they're freezing to death, they're gonna die cuz you haven't put a blanket, raincoat and rain boots on them!!!😱😭
😂
Don't forget the rain hat too. Of course, the rain hat goes over the helmet.😅
@@lindanelson8400 ⛑☔🦺😆
AND.. They're starving to death as well .😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
The boys are looking good!

Miss the horsey vids. Thank Rick

Hiya Rick,

Love these videos of you, the boys, 'Mokey and now chickens! Such a beautiful place you have!
Your horses look great Rick.
Hi Rick! Been watching your videos for a long time and been enjoying every video! Hope all is well! Hello from Canada, British Columbia. 🇨🇦
There is a condition called Shivers. Check it out with your vet.
I just remembered the video where you get stuck on the roof - 😂 that was hilarious!! 😂😂 Gotta find that video...
That's some of the most beautiful grass I've ever seen!
Because it's cold out there, mon ⛄
It was raining a few days ago really hard where we are at in the West Indies. The fillies were all cold and shivering. I was surprised at how cold they got. We had to build a fire for them.
Do you support any horse rescue organizations? Or think about sponsoring one for sanctuary since u have beautiful land, May God Bless you🙏
❤ the new video!
I miss the thunderstorms! Off topic question Rick. Did you want to try the "Total contact saddle" for your boys? I heard it's better than original saddles. It's like a padded cinch that goes over any saddle pad.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎂 🥳 🎉 for this week.
I havent watched you in awhile Rick, i am glad to see you and your horses are still well. Do you still have the rabbit?
I like these better than 2 hour Lives. Lmbo. But you do what’s best for YOU!!!
Stewey the rabbit died of natural causes/ old age
Dog gone I've missed all the boys! Glad to see you all are well. So, because you gave them a snack is that why you didn't give a flake of alfalfa for the shivers? Or is that a bit of micro management in the big picture. The boys won't waste away from a bit of spring shivers. Be well dude! ❤❤
Seems that your rains end up in Florida where I live.
Because it's cold. Supposed to be Spring and feels like winter in Oklahoma (at least in Norman) this morning lol
I really enjoyed this video. Thank you!
Thanks for a horsey video boys!!
Yay, new video!
It was 23° last night in Vermont. Cold again tonight. Then looks like 40's overnights.
Sucks to be horses or human in New England.
Mr. T Buddy Ransom and mokie are good boys
sweat scraper will get the excess water off the horses
Hi Rick
At first glance I thought you trimmed Ransoms forelock…..I was going to ask you if he needs a pretty pink halter 😂😂
Can you post instructional videos on horsemen him again
I heard the chicken answered you when you saying "good boys" 😄
❤❤❤
I’m just curious-why did they get a whole apple but not a whole or half carrot? I’ve been cutting up my apples and carrots but if I don’t have too cut the apples I can avoid getting all sticky taking it out to them..
When did you get a chicken?
I forget how many acres do you have?
I think it's a neighbor's chicken who is visiting.
are those the neighbors chickens?
I was hoping mokie would appear, wonder what he’s doing, maybe in the garage with a lizard 🦎 on his neck 😂
