Aero T is my backup. My new chair is a Quickie Nitrum. Be careful if you’re considering that one as the dump won’t go as low if you’re using 24x1 3/8 tires

Too much talking not enough to show the chair

Stating the obvious is OK. You did answer a question that always nagged at me: How can a wheelchair with less tubing weight more than a chair with more tubing--everything else equal? (At least that's how they are listed on wheelchair selling sites.) No one else has bothered mentioning that the tubing is thicker. It's not obvious in all the pictures. I always assumed the same tubing was used to make both chairs, so thank you for that. Mono-tube for me, only for ease of putting it in the back seat and is much easier to put my backpack and cushion in the open space "under the wheelchair". Also, I have a fabric sling that hangs underneath my chair. When I go grocery shopping, I can load 3 or 4 2L bottles of Diet Coke there which is very handy. The cross bracing would get in the way for getting it in my car and for putting things underneath. This vid was worth the watch, so I gave you a like.

Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video! I currently have the Aero T in aluminum, but my new wheelchair that I am getting in a few weeks will be the ZRA in titanium. Looking forward to the upgraded and lighter wheelchair. Hopefully, it will make it easier for me with my limited mobility. Take care!

@@clinicalmobilitysolutions2131, thank you so much! I am so excited about my new chair! It's definitely an upgrade from what I currently have. The weird thing is that I paid $3,000 out of pocket five years ago with insurance assistance for an aluminum chair, but this year I only owe $270 for a a titanium chair and upgrades. The $270 is for my side guards. Lol! I am getting a SmartDrive too for airports and long distance. Five years ago insurance didn't pay for titanium and now they do. I'm very interested in learning how to do all the maintenance on my new wheelchair. Suggestions, videos, etc.? Looking forward to turning my current wheelchair into a beach wheelchair.

I have both of these chairs. I got the ZRA monotube first and the TRA dual tube about 7 years later. I now use the ZRA as my backup chair. Both are awesome chairs but I prefer the thinner tubing and rigidity of the dual tube.

When you put those little bitty wheels in front if somebody is riding that fairly fast and they hit a thing that’s not even the person in that wheelchair is going to turn over or they’re gonna fall out of it and so you need to reset the caster wheels either make them bigger or put them behind

Hello Eric, thank you for getting in touch! Sorry to hear you're not enjoying your powerchair. It's difficult to recommend anything without knowing your situation and carrying out a full assessment. May I ask what it is about the powerchair you don't like?

@@clinicalmobilitysolutions2131 you hit the power button it don't go nowhere for a second I hit lot of stuff with the chair stuff like that I was just asking could you recommend a rigid manual wheelchair that is easy to move around

@@EricK-ed2mt thanks for getting back to us. It's almost impossible to correctly recommend a rigid chair without assessing you or understanding your situation. If you're getting into a manual active for the first time then choose a fairly entry level aluminium rigid chair as this will be a massive step up anyway. Once you have decided on the chair ensure that it's correctly setup, the COG is very important as that will determine where the wheels are positioned and therefore how easy/difficult it is to propel. Good Luck!

I currently have the Aero T/dual in aluminum, but looking forward to getting my ZRA/mono in titanium. I got an huge upgrade and I am so excited. Hopefully will be easier on my body and lighter. I would love suggestions on doing all wheelchair maintenance on my own.

Hello Happy New Year, Yule to all. A note most if not all of the information I received about Fnd,and Wheelchairs is from the Australian and UK not from the Eastern Atlantic coast of the United states where I live. So please give out cost , measure etc. In dollars and lbs, so we can find what we need as Wheelchairs from Europe are better and prettier than those in the States. Thanks josie
