What is funny is that they didn't even use Astro's strongest form. In some point of one of his stories, he is given the power to transcend time, which means he can go backwards and forwards in time (as long as its within his time stream) and when he does so he retains his memories and abilities from before the travel.
I think Astro Boy is overpowered. That is why he is awesome.

you know the sad thing about astro boy? its that he could've BEEN allowed to age. Simply change his body specs every year. you could do it overnight... I mean if you can make a robot capable of understanding human emotions, something like that should be a cake walk. though I understand him not being of sound mind to think of this.
In one of the manga arcs (darkest yet most saddest) it was pretty much explained that tenma got all of the money to build astro from a wealthy man who wanted to use astro for a day.

I suggest it would be better if you don't bother seeing the 2009 Astro Boy film. It's not horrible beyond belief, it's just a rather flawed film.
Astro Boy himself is pretty much the only decent thing in the flick, he's still innocent, still has a good heart and he still doesn't like having to fight those who don't deserve it.
The WORST part of the film is its Brain-Dead, dumbass, in-you're-face, evil military villain who thinks he can still win a re-election for president... Even when he's destroying the very city he's supposed to govern as a giant killer war machine... And that's after being responsible for Tobio's death in front of a bunch of whitenesses including Dr. Tenma! That and as a villain, he FAILS to be scary!

honestly i wonder why Megaman didn't jack Astro Boy's weapon, i mean in the Cartoon he could do it mid battle as long as he touched them.
+jayczero Unfortunately that ability contradicts the canon. The main canon comes from the games and not the tv show. In actual canon, Megaman can only copy the abilities of those he defeats. The fact he copied abilities by touching his enemies in the tv show is non-canon or contradicts the main canon of Megaman, hence, why he didn't have that ability.

+karagu1 They will use non-canon material so long as it makes sense within the character's personality or skill set and doesn't conflict with the already established canon. Goku's ssj4 transformation didn't conflict with anything and thus it was used. So long as both combatants get their non-canon feats (that aren't absurd for them) then it is completely fair.
+karagu1 They gave him that form because otherwise it wasn't even close. If they didn't include it fans would be bitching and you know it. They would have been like "SS4 is stronger they didn't give Goku his full power." So they got it and instead they were like "Goku using Powerpole in SS2 is stupid, Screw attack suck, Goku Galaxy buster in SS3" and a whole bunch of other bullshit
***** I know. I'm up to date, but at the time that had no relevance. I do love Akira Toriyama's logic though. That the shockwaves get stronger and stronger as they move outward, which is the direct opposite of what would actually happen. But anything to make sure the planet wasn't wrecked right?
Personally I don't really care for Super. It feels like an unnecessary addition just to make Goku super strong, because that's basically the whole point of the story at the moment. There was nothing thematically in Dragon Ball that needed to be further explored in my mind.

The thing I didn't like about this death battle was that they hid stats and power facts for the end. They waited until after the battle to prove how powerful Astro Boy was, but doesn't that make the whole battle redundant? Why not have Astro Boy go against someone his level since it was so requested?

I stopped watching them death battle because the ones I always like and root for losses :,(...
+MarBenShua They are not official anyway. All screw attack does is use other people's sprites and models and tweak them a bit. I used to like screw attack, but not anymore. They keep making the cooler characters lose for the most stupedest reasons. Heres a few examples
"Mai wins Chun li because she uses fire" WTF chun li can kick someone through a brick wall, which was stated in tehir own video! Plus chun has fought against fire users many times.
"Yang wins Tifa because her stats go up each time she gets hit" - just hit her lightly a few times then finish her off with something big. Belladonnas in megaman x command missions have to be dealt this way
"Astroboy wins cuz of speed and strength" - JUST BLAST HIS LEGS OFF. Megaman is intelligent enough to know that! Plus brightman's time stopper allows megaman to shoot AS WELL. Oh, and why didn't SA let megaman use any shields?
I hate screw attack extra because they keep calling superman "God" plus make shit videos about him being invincible, when batman officially beat him. I never was subscribed to screw attack to begin with. They don't deserve the 2 million subs for making unofficial fights. They should make their work more original than piggy back off other peoples characters/works.
That's the point! Screw attack is making money out of re using other peoples work and keeps saying "lets end this debate once and for all" and they do it inaccurately most of the time anyway!
