Deathbattle just likes to get really strong characters (like Majin Buu) and put them against characters that people have little to no knowledge about (like Kirby) that have weird special abilities and powers that make them pretty much unbeatable. Kirby isn't strong but his infinite stomach and durability are too much.
Well kirby isnt that strong without copy abilities but that's because hes a baby all he knows is to eat and fight back when he sees a threat

Bottom line is this. DBZ fanboys will ALWAYS be butthurt if someone from DBZ loses. Why do you think there was no hate when Vegeta beat Shadow? Because Vegeta won. DBZ fanboys need to realize that they won't win every time. I swear DBZ fanboys are the most stubborn and annoying fanboys in the world. Thats why I respect casual viewers. They understand that Goku, Vegeta, etc won't always win. Goku vs Superman is a great example. In the first battle they showed the math and science behind each fighter. But DBZ fanboys couldn't except that superman was stronger. And in Superman, Goku part 2, goku was the one that had limits to give. Superman has no limits at all. So like they said, "What happens when you put a man with the power to break any limits, against a being with no limits in the first place? Well, only one has limits to give at all." DBZ fanboys, just because DBZ dosen`t always win, dosen`t mean its a bad thing. Understand that and move on.

YAY! KIRBY SAVES THE DAY! Seriously, that vid was awesome, also had elements of my favorite Newgrounds web series Super Mario Bros. Z. I honestly thought Majin Buu would win though, especially in his Super Buu form, I thought Kirby was toast. That was a hell of a twist.

Dude, nothing Kirby did fazed Buu, other than the rebound of the planet burst attack at the end of the battle.
It's really a matter of a good guy of a series who has obviously never been completely defeated vs one of the bad guys of a series who has been defeated. The creators of DBZ had to give Buu weaknesses so he can be killed in the show and the story resolved while in Kirby games and shows they only give him obstacles to overcome and be victorious over. So they're obviously going to use those weaknesses from Buu to rationalize his defeat in the Death Battle.

The regen is probably similar to cell's. Buu would probably not be able to return from an atom but from a cell yes. (still to small to see do)

Kirby is eight inches (0.203m) tall. They scaled all of his feats improperly. Also planet shiver star being Earth is a fan theory so it is unfair to base his strength feats on that. Another easy way to debunk the pop star = earth size argument is to look at the games themselves.
Kirby bouncing off the ground without providing himself any extra lift takes about 1 second to rise to his own height off the ground and fall back down. Let's cut that time in half so we can say that his initial velocity is 0 m/s, which it would be at the apex of his curve. So we have his initial velocity, time taken to fall, and the height from which he falls. We can use x=vt+0.5at^2 and solve for acceleration.
0.203m = 0m/s(.5s) + (.5)a(.5s)^2
a = 1.62 m/s^2
So planet pop star has a gravitational acceleration of only 0.165g's. Either pop star is significantly smaller than earth or it's made out of styrofoam.
Also, the air resistance on popstar is negligible because Kirby falls just as fast in the vacuum of space.
TL;DR- Use canon sources or get the fuck out. Physics has no time for your guesswork.

I don't know if you've watched all of the other Death Battles already, but some of the better looking fights you could react to are Godzilla Vs Gamera, Robocop Vs Terminator, and Goku Vs Superman. (They're kind of old, but they're still fun to see people react to them)

1 - Fat Buu transforms to Super Buu, not Kid Buu
2 - Kid Buu doesn't get obliterated from planetary explosion because he couldn't defend against it, he gets blown to bits because he doesn't gives a damn. Kid Buu is so mcuh unefected by damage that he makes no attempts to avoid it.
3 - Buu wouldn't absorb that minion. Buu only obsorbs the strongest.
4 - Kid Buu and Fat Buu doesn't use and tactics or strategy, BUT Super Buu (and his versions) do. Super Buu blows himself up when faced with Mystic Gohan to win enough time for Trunks+Gotenks to fuse again so he can absorb them (with a sneak attack) to gain enough power AND intelligence to best Gohan.
5 - The energy attack Buu didn't run from was a Spirit Bomb and he didn't run because he actually gained controll over the attack. He was destroyed by it only because a wish was made to the eternal dragon to restore Goku to full power so he could controll the the ball again.
I don't know about Kirby, and if you say that he's an unending eating machine that can't be destroyed then that's that. Same with Superman vs Goku, where Superman is simply ridicolously strong. It's just that in DBZ, half the fucknig show is about the character attaining said power, mostly through hard work, while Superman (or perhaps Kirby) is strong because the writers said so. Not saying that DBZ has a good intergrity with all the goofy/stupid stuff that happens, just that at least it says "Work hard and better yourself always".

People always complaining when they see a dbz character lose in a death battle. Personally I could see Kirby beating Fat Buu with no questions, although against Super or Kid Buu that might be a very tough match.
However, the fact that this fight started off with Fat Buu means that in all honesty that it's impossible for Fat Buu to become Kid Buu. Yes he can become Super Buu and that would of made this fight seem more legit but it looked like they instantly made him become Kid Buu, which is impossible for him.
Having him just become Kid Buu is imo the same "out-side interference" that they explained for why Vegeta can't be ssj4 in his death battle.

I loved this Death Battle, and would not have been disappointed if it went either way.
It only takes impact of something to destroy the warp star, the warp star explodes when crashed by anything. Majin Buu is a lot stronger than what the video presented, when Kirby was hit he should have crashed through a thousand trees instead of hitting a tree and being intact. Do people have any idea how light Kirby is.

They addressed this in the original video, basically they claimed that Buu's teleporting has it's capabilities or else he would've done the same thing from the blast that killed him in the end of DBZ

There are so many flaws in death battles calculations for Dbz they make them less power if Buu can go up against a full power ssj 3 and survive a planet explosion also the transformation from good buu to kid buu is way more complicated also when buu absorbed that guy with the sword he should've went through a transformation and yes I'm a dbz fanboy but I have facts on both characters and in games if Kirby can't survive falling on spikes he can't get punched by buu if u want more facts check out the discussion between quamaans land and ryhmestyle

Im fine with Goku losing because that made sense. It pissed me off that Kirby was able inflict damage on Buu. MABEY Kirby could survive a few jits from Buu, but he cant inflict any damage. At least put Buu against someone like Iron Man

What bothers me more then anything is that Death Battle omitted the most powerful form of Buu (Super Buu Mystic Gohan Absorbed) seemingly to justify shitting on the DBZ character. If you're not going to represent the character at their strongest, why bother using them at all? Fucking dumb.
They also omitted a lot and I mean a lot of information on Kirby. Plenty of which would have made many of boo's attacks worthless.
