    Sweet! The uniqueness of this platform is why I am going to order one

    Unusual Suspension system. Still highly effective, quirks and all. Vibes of the 1980s to early 90s. Imma get one.

    Looks like an interesting buggy! I've seen a few photos of it, but never seen a video with it before now... I'll definitely watch out for your next video(s) with it, very nice!

    That is one cool E-buggy! Very unique. You drive it very smoothly and consistently.

    What a great buggy. This is the first time I've seen one. The suspension is so cool looking and it actually works well. Good driving skills.

    They're bringing back the soul core of Tenth Technology's 1/10 scale X line of competitive buggies, which then didn't compete well - just unique looks. Shock towers play a very important role when racing on very bumpy terrain, as off-road vehicles should on, vintage racing tracks and real-world bashing. These lay-down shocks are suitable now for modern tracks, but does it really make these buggies "off-road" ( and "off-road" racing on a whole). One would think they are more suited for on-road racing like electric GT, or 10th scale touring, but shock travel in these races is so small (especially compared to buggy racing) that it is way better and more straight-forward to use much shorter, lighter shocks mounted on small carbon shock towers. These buggies are unique , they are special shelf-queens, but for realistic competitive off-road racing, perhaps for these "modern" tracks

    Welcome to the Agama family bro! FYI Agama is a Taiwan based company NemoRacing is in the UK that is the distributor. The car looked good on both tracks looking forward to your future videos with it. Did you get any setup advice from Donald Elliott?

      Thanks for the clarification. Also no I have not

      I don't even think it's fair to call Nemo racing a distributor anymore 😭, those guys are the main engineers behind the N1, working with Agama to make it what it is😊

      @Shellbackrc Před 6 měsíci

      @@mattykobs yeah they did the engineering I totally agree with you.

    I'm going to wait until you do an overview on the Mayako, but I think I may now be leaning towards the Agama N1e now. I've been looking for a more finesse-focused 1/8th scale buggy pretty much ever since the 8IGHT 2.0 was discontinued and TLR started focusing more on making their newer cars more forgiving of mistakes at the expense of precise handling.

    • @ncmrebar8950
      @ncmrebar8950 Před 6 měsíci

      I agree i tryed the new losi and its nowhere near what the 8ight 2.0 was
      This agama suits the precise and smooth driving style
      It corners very fast compared to other buggys
      Specifically long fast corners it tends to carry more speed

    Id like to see if the shocks transmit energy to the chassis differently left to right. One shock is in front of the axle centerline and the other is behind.

    Man if you ever get a chance you gotta come to southern Oklahoma and race with us at Shaw’s!

  • @ncmrebar8950
    @ncmrebar8950 Před 6 měsíci

    The stock shocks on the front are actually better on those tracks you were running
    The dual saddle on back is best with the forward mod
    Big difference
    Definitely i agree as this buggy suits the smooth driving style !

    I was just looking at the F8e. Looks really nice, it looks like a mashup of Tekno and a Kyosho.

    I've never seen or heard of this buggy before wish more people would talk about these unique buggies that they don't know about of these companies.

  • @Crabtronics

    You need to go down on your sway bars with this buggy buddy. Run no front sway bar for more grip. Lose the rear sway bar if grip is low. Highest you should need is 1.8-2.0 rear sway bar. Again no front. And only the base of the rear chassis brace. Good luck and have fun! Talk to Mike Ankey of VRP for the best set ups and parts. He runs this buggy exclusively

    Ditch the vrp kit and run it standard, it just makes a brilliant buggy a bit less brilliant.

    What if you crash up side down? will the fron shock take the hit instead of the tower?

    • @RoachRC
      @RoachRC  Před 2 měsíci

      Kinda. The wing will pretty much always take the brunt of it, but the front shock cap will sometimes get scuffed up
