I agree with this process. For anyone new to this, learn how to do your own oil changes at home. Buy the 5 quart bottle of oil for your specific engine at walmart or local auto parts who has the good deal on the same 5qt bottle with the filter. These places charge too much for an oil change and in some cases they will create an oil leak or tamper with your car giving you more problems. You only really need to do an oil change if your car has dirty/black oil. Look up how to change the oil on your car on YT and if you think you can do it, just get the things needed to do them yourself. If you have a mechanic who's really your friend or you can trust 100% different story. I had trusted mechanics and I would let them do most any work that needed to be done if I did not want to learn how or deal with it. Mostly you need a mechanic to diagnose issues most old cars will have by the time they end up for sale from the previous owner.
For fun I guess I see you’re point but if you really want to save any amount on money doing it yourself is good too. I like changing my own oil. I just like doing work on any car. Keeps me busy. You making me want to flip cars even more. I just need the money 😭 also for the glue have you tried steaming it
Appreciate you. I would google it for CT. But basically in most places you just need an office space and a lot that can hold 3 cars plus. You need a dealer bond as well. But just google or call your local motor vehicles. Ask a bunch of questions don’t stop until you get the answers. Good luck
Thanks for watching! Man there is no where that sells good cars. You really have to do the research on what you are buying and leave enough recon money to fix it. Just take you time buying.
Hi, I want to get into buying and selling vehicles! Now when I buy a vehicle from a individual vehicle owner, can they leave it blank? Or do they think it’s sketchy? Since I don’t want pay for the registration of that vehicle, takes away the profit! Lmk how I can approach when it comes to that!
Thanks for watching. That’s called flipping titles people do do it. But you’re not supposed to. If you want to do the right way register it. But totally up to you. Appreciate the view!
You are not suppose to do that, you may get away with it if everything goes smoothly. But you need to remember your car is uninsured during that process, which leave you vulnerable for a lot of liability. That is the reason why he is doing it the right way with dealer license and business insurance, it is just cost of doing business. Problem is if you hit someone with your car and someone gets injured, you would be in a lot of troubles.
I'm thinking of getting a dealers license. I have a general question about insurance. I'm guessing dealers insurance lets you drive any make and model and be covered vs having to insure each different vehicle you get? Just put a dealer plate on and your good to go? and roughly what is that a month?
Thanks for watching yes. With a dealer plate I can literally slap it on any car and drive it. Great for transporting cars around from auctions or to get the fixed etc. depending on your driving record will depend on cost but roughly 3-400 a month
Depends on your state. I would google it to see the requirements. Some states allow you to do it out of your home. In my state we have to have a office and parking.
@@JeroenSWartDoing it that way is not good practice. It's not hard to undo the oil sump plug and let it drain into oil tray. Also a lot quicker than fart arseing around trying to suck the old oil out. You would also not get ALL of the old oil out trying to SUCK it out. People are stupid as it is. Don't give them more stupid ideas.💯

No it would be a dealer insurance company any of the regular guys don’t do it. Google your area to find one near you.

That looks fun looks. Do i need a dealers license?
Thanks! Most people just flip titles not everyone has a dealer license.
What does it take to get a dealer's license? I used to flip cars in my teens but just really buy and sell.

You can also suck out the oil with a vacuumpump. That way you don't have to get under the car and unscrew lots of things. Just saying.
$55 is really cheap with all the bonuses
Definitely!
