    Rayban- “we took everything from the classic and pulled out all the features like polarized lenses, no prescription and charge the same amount” 😂

      Ridiculous, isn't it? Exactly which market is that supposed to be for?

    Reverse is close to Titanium frame by long bridge up. and 2nd thing the lens is more protection from scratch if you put it on the table by mistake.

    Looks cool, but I think it's going to let more light IN to the eyes, which sunglasses are obviously supposed to keep light out lol.

      What pls explain easily

    • @SKELLZ_
      @SKELLZ_ Před rokem +1

      @@t3minator.69 the lenses are basically backwards, so they let more light on the eyes instead of keeping it off the eyes.

    Which rap around sunglasses can be used with prescription lenses? And how long does it take to make them?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  Před rokem

      Hello! Most wrap around frame models with 2 distinct lenses (NOT single shield lens designs) hold prescription though due to the high wrap they do not accommodate very high Rx strengths. To find out if a particular model will work with your prescription, give us a call to speak with a live optician who will go over the details of your Rx and recommend frames that suit your individual needs 🔥

    Since the Aviator Reverse is not polarised how does it compare against a the original polarised version in terms of 99% UV protection it offers? Is it the same as a non-polarised Aviator original?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  Před rokem

      The Reverse lenses offer the same amount of UV protection as the standard non-polarized Aviator lenses at around 85% 😎

    What's The Point If They Aren't Polarized

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  Před 2 měsíci

      Hello! Non-polarized lenses are essential for some people and activities where polarization is not a benefit. Pilots, for example, cannot use polarized lenses as it interferes with their ability to read instrumentation while in the cockpit. While polarization is critical for fisherman, it can also negatively affect depth perception for other activities where quick reaction time is tied to performance like baseball, Mountain Biking, Tennis, etc. Hope this helps!

    Looks to me like they will let more sun in from the top.

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  Před rokem +2

      Hi! Good point! The design of the reverse does suggest more light can enter from the top of the frame. Although after wearing and testing the aviators in sunny conditions we can say that it lets in about the same amount of light as that of the original

    I'm not sure what Ray Ban's decision for these lenses are, other than trying to do something out of the box to get noticed in the industry?
    1. Optically they won't be as good in your peripheral vision compared to normal creating more distorted vision.
    2. The lenses won't match the face-form wrap of the human head for a majority of people, letting in more light on the sides.
    3. As she mentioned, they can't offer prescription or polarized option due to the unconventional shape, really limiting their use case potential.
    If they wanted to cater to people with lower bridges or bigger cheeks, they could have made an "alternate fit" version that has a slightly flatter base curve and bigger nose pad bridge arms like Maui Jim's have on certain models.

      I was curious when these came out, and this is exactly what I expected. This is what happens when you try to make something "cool" by going against evolution and basic biology, that's the reason our eyeballs are convex. The design seems anti-evolution, thus making them a bit stupid.
