- Since January, Denver7 has received 30 separate complaints from customers of the Sharpest Rides used car dealership in Englewood, claiming the vehicles purchased from them developed major issues only hours or days after purchase.
They been doing this for years gotta stay away from them
Geez these people aren't too smart. A Hyundai, VW, Mercedes and Range Rover. Literally all the worst cars you can buy to begin with especially used. lol
well people are buying them with 100k miles ya they dont last that long to begin with.
Not everyone knows.
Bought a car from them, and had to get a new tranny the next week
people dont do the proper research before giving their hard earned money away.a day or two researching the model & seller wouldve been enough for them to avoid these problems.buyer beware is still relevant today, more than ever.
Damn was thinking about purchasing a car from them. Thankfully I saw this video first!
same!
Stay the fuck away for sure, terrible dealership
Well if you buy a VW, merc, or Land Rover you can expect the engine to blow no matter what
I’m dealing with an absolute lemon from the sharpest rides, bought it 2 1/2 months ago and have dozens of problems with it including the check engine light came on after half a tank of gas. Now they’re refusing to fix the problem that it just turns off while I’m driving and want me to pay to fix it and the diagnosis and other fees because it didn’t happen before I dropped it off at the mechanic after a half tank of gas. An absolutely horrible car dealership, they also refused to give me my 6 grand back and take the truck back. If you want a vehicle that you can put 800 miles on in 3 months then the sharpest rides is for you!
I avioded a car there at evaluated price. Learned the car had bent valves, low compression (obviously with the valves). Massive covered up oil leaks, worn breaks and tires, blown suspension. Super glue w as used to put together mirror covers and body trim. They do not fix up thier cars prior to a sale and offer zero returns. Worst car buying experience.
All they sell are clapped out auction cars
Bought a used Honda HR-V from them that had serious wiring issues from the moment I had it.
sorry to hear this :/ I was considering making a purchase with them until my father found this video online!!
I wished we'd seen this sooner. They are absolutely horrible
I bought a Benz from them with 120k miles one year ago. Never had ANY issues with it whatsoever.
You lucked out, then. I bought an Audi Allroad from this place with about 80K miles on it - it needed a LOT of work done to it, and was a nightmare to own before I dumped it after 2 years of very expensive headaches and towing bills.
I had a great experience there, and would go back. 30 customers???? They sell more cars than that on a busy Saturday...
People complaining about used cars having issues 🤣🤣 Thats why if u buy a used vehicle you need to get inspection right away..
I bought used cars before and never had issues but I bought it from them and the car needed new engine after few days
@@rastyqader instead of driving around for a few days you should have taken it to get inspected after it left lot.. Within a few hours..
@@COBALT_iLLADELPH again they shouldn't be selling cars with engine problems imagine you buy car from you go and inspect it and they tell you it needs new engine
@@rastyqader are you on this planet?? It ain't about what should be and shouldn't be..People do wrong things everyday including businesses..It's up to you to make sure it doesn't happen to you! Like if you get oil changed and they add on a bunch of work you don't really need. ITS called not being a sucker!
@@COBALT_iLLADELPH again warning people about getting car from soulless place who sells people car with engine problems. If I can turn one person away from buying a car from them then I have done good service
Had a few myself, probably sunk 12k into a car I got from them for 5k, just junk fix after junk fix.
Even if u have a mechanic " look " at guess what it still can go stop running there are no guarantees with used vehicles everrrr
Who buys a used Benz and Range Rover
Hey Zack iv got the story of all stories
that’s why you buy it certified pre-owned from a known dealer. OR, you have a mechanic you trust look over the car you are buying…I’d never trusted small random dealers with “deals”. the prices are usually the same AND they lack the warranty and ability to deliver costumer care should something like this occurs. Also, why are you buying known horrible cars with low resale value? You do know those cars are all notorious for electrical problems, engine failures and extremely unreliable- right?
"Certified pre-owned" is a complete racket. CPO cars are no more rigorously checked and services than any used car, they just tend to have lower miles on them. They also cost more, And I can tell you from personal experience that you are no less likely to get ripped off from a major dealership. Your best bet, when buying a used car, is to take it to a mechanic for an inspection. If the dealer won't let it be inspected, or they refuse to pay for any major issues, walk away.
These guys aren't that small.
Theses are USED CARS what do ppl expect..First of all there cars are old second their used where do u think the dealer buys these cars from? Stright from the factory?? No no and no..
I wont buy a car from here ever not cause of the complaints but I can already tell what time it is....
There just rules as a shopper I stand buy in buying cars and nope...
