I think touya "died" and that's why none of the todoroki family has recognized him yet. Some people look very different when they grow up. I do for example. I think that's why when dabi told hawks (spoiler) His identity (which was blacked out) he was so shocked. Maybe dabi was supposed to be one of the "special" heros like hawks and that's when the "accident" happened that supposedly lead to touyas death. Hawks had forgotten about his existence but remembered when it was revealed. I don't know. Ive read a few chapters of the manga but I haven't read that far. I just read spoilers all the time.
I also think that maybe if rei were to see dabi in person, she might see it. She might even know. Fuymi and natsuo might know, but are in denial. If rei knew, she would probably keep it secret if she thought it was best. Clarification: When Endeavor meets Dabi, he has blurred vision and doesn't see Dabi clearly. This is done purposefully for the story so that Todoroki, Enji does not immediately recognize his own son.
You're 100% correct. It isn't really new evidence so much as it is confirmation at this point. Especially with the Endeavor plot building towards _something_ and Dabi calling him out after the last nomu fight.

Here's what i beleive, when Dabi meets Endeavour he calls him by his real name (Enji Todoroki), then he says "its nice to finally meet you endeavour." I think what he means by that is to show that endeavour is infact two people, there is the abusive dad and the great hero. Dabi calls him by his first name because thats who he sees in endeavour, he has never met the so called incredible hero that protects the world. Um this explanation probably could have been executed better but you probably get the idea, of course this would all mean nothing if he isnt a Todoroki. But everything about his interactions in those two scenes with shouto and endeavour have been suggesting at something.
Exactly that 3rd interaction solidified it for me when Dabi revealed Endevour name to be Enji and said "we will talk another time"....what's so important to talk about with Endevour of all people 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Dabi also seems to be burned in the same places that endeavor wears his fire. Maybe he tried to be like his dad, or his dad tried to make him like him, but due to his weakness to heat it left burns.
The whole 'inheriting his mothers weak constitution' (in the physical sense) just seems so aligned for Touya Todoroki being Dabi, especially with what was revealed about Dabi in 230: his body not being able to handle his own flames... (we been knew smh) I'm just waiting for Horikoshi to drop the bomb in like a hundred chapters or so lol
Fan theory: Bakugo has to be mean like that to produce his sweat. When your constantly enraged and have personality like bakugo your sweat glands produce more sweat when you scared or mad. So to keep producing his explosions he has that killer personality just to keep his quirk going. Notice that when he’s about to go into battle his personality gets greater so that he can keep fighting and when he’s around others he tries to stay away so his explosive personality won’t hurt them. This is also the reason why he strayed away from deku when they were young, so he wouldn’t eventually hurt him with his quirk.
In the show right before dabi’s first appearance endeavor uses his ability on one of the nomus and eventually produces a blue flame after much effort. If touya is stronger than endeavor he should be able to produce blue flames without using as much strength... ... kinda like Dabi
Wait, When Endeavor was fighting Nomu, he had Blue flames instead of red. Since Blue Flames are Dabi, we could probably say that Dabi inherited the Blue Flames instead of red from Endeavor. Enji should’ve recognized it but the ONLY time they met was when he was injured and his vision was blurry. He DID NOT actually see Dabi, which is more of a reason why I believe he is Touya. In the anime the one situation they would’ve met was during the raid but “coincidentally” Dabi was knocked out, nor was any information about him revealed. I’ve only recently watched BNHA and thought the theory was absolutely ridiculous but goddammit I KNOW something big is going on between them.

Shoto and Endeavour will eventually have a stable Father Son relationship, leading Shoto to actually care about Endeavour. That could lead to him wanting to avenge Endeavour, plus anyone would want to avenge their father.

The Dabi-Touya theory is about 90% confirmed at this point. Everything lines up too perfectly. But I don't understand why people think Natsuo has a fire quirk. He has white hair and he's sensitive to warm weather, so it's safer to assume he's an ice-user. There's one important thing to clarify about 5:08. The statement was fan translated as "Rei's weak constitution". Which is technically true since that's where it comes from, but in Japanese the original phrase was 冷の体質. The translators probably thought it was a namedrop since 冷 is used for Rei's name, but 冷 is ALSO a word for "cold". 体質 specifically refers to the physical state of the body. More accurately, the phrase would mean "cold constitution" or "cold physique". Touya is a fire user who inherited a body suited for ice. He's weak to his own flames, kinda like he has an autoimmune disease. People speculated about this ever since the manga portrayed kid Touya as smaller than kid Natsuo and kid Fuyumi despite him supposedly being the oldest.
I think people assume that Natsuo ist a fire user because of his name, after all Horikoshi likes to use puns as names (for everyone not knowing Natsu means Summer, which is well... hot and sometimes even firey) that's also why a lot of people assumed from fuyumis first appearance on that she has an ice quirk.
Touya: Hey, I know we're children of a hero don't you think one of us is going to become a villain. Natsuo: I love you Touya but please go to sleep. And that's how Touya became a villain :)
I think Dabi not being a Todoroki is impossible. In the provisional license exams, Shoto realizes that his past actions were the cause of his failure, and there's a bit of a parallel there to Endeavor's struggle as he taked up the mantle of #1 hero. Endeavor begins to try to come to terms with his past and actions as well, which is interestingly right around the time that Touya is brought up. Basically, I predict that this will all come to a head with Dabi confronting Endeavor, beating him, and Shoto stepping in to keep Dabi from killing their dad. Or maybe Dabi will try to kill Shoto to get even with Endeavor, since Shoto is Endeavor's "masterpiece".
Dabi was not crying, he was simply bleeding (if you look at the panels his stitches start undoing whilst charging endevour). Although he is emotional because of what Snatch said: 'Do you ever think about their families?', referring to families of pro heroes who Dabi (if he is Touya), is a member of.
On one of the pics of Touya, you see some burn marks on one of the side of his body, clearly highlighted near to where Dabi's are. Like if you noticed this too!

Another way to look at Dabi "meeting" Endeavor. Remember that Natsuo mentions that Endeavor never spent any time with them that he has a hard time even thinking of Endeavor as a father. So Dabi acting like it's his first meeting can be seen as that. Another way is that this is DABI meeting Endeavor, not Touya, in that Dabi abandoned the name Touya and became Dabi.

I really like the idea of Dabi, Shouto, and Endeavour mirroring Azula, Zuko, and Ozai. Also it really does make a lot of sense. The parallels between Zuko and Shouto are very prominent. Endeavour and Ozai do have some similarities. Dabi having blue fire would make sense if they want to continue the parallels because when Azula is first introduced, one of the things that stand out the most is her blue fire

All his life Dabi was raised.m by a “false hero.” Now that Endeavor is #1 its only right he gets exposed for the trash man that he his. It’ll deal a big blow to his current redemption arc. I always thought it was interesting how Horikoshi, during the raid to rescue Bakugo, decided to put Endeavor outside of the villain’s base. It almost seems as if Horikoshi didn’t want Dabi and Endeavor to be in the same room. And how Gran Torino decided to list all the real names of every villain in the room EXCEPT Dabi who was conveniently knocked out right before doing so.
Right I didn’t even think about that. I always thought it was suspicious how Endeavor didn’t recognize him assuming he really is Touya. I know his face is horribly disfigured but still.

I see a lot of people pointing out the eye colour, too, but nobody has mentioned the eye shapes... There's a striking resemblance throughout the entire Todoroki family and Dabi is no exception. Not only eye shape but face shape and etc too. Not to mention, the fighting styles of Dabi and Shouto's left side are practically identical (It could just be a laziness thing, but they *reuse* animations for the two)
I think the part where dabi "gets emotional" over murdering snatch, he's responding to what was said about the families of people he's killed. he "thought so much about it" he "almost went crazy", I think that's just his response to the concept of family. he thinks about someone else's family, well, do their families actually care? his own family--his own father--was utter shit. he was robbed of a true family by what expectations his father placed on his offspring.

Here's what i beleive, when Dabi meets Endeavour he calls him by his real name (Enji Todoroki), then he says "its nice to finally meet you endeavour." I think what he means by that is to show that endeavour is infact two people, there is the abusive dad and the great hero. Dabi calls him by his first name because thats who he sees in endeavour, he has never met the so called incredible hero that protects the world. Um this explanation probably could have been executed better but you probably get the idea, of course this would all mean nothing if he isnt a Todoroki. But everything about his interactions in those two scenes with shouto and endeavour have been suggesting at something.

Fan theory: Bakugo has to be mean like that to produce his sweat. When your constantly enraged and have personality like bakugo your sweat glands produce more sweat when you scared or mad. So to keep producing his explosions he has that killer personality just to keep his quirk going. Notice that when he’s about to go into battle his personality gets greater so that he can keep fighting and when he’s around others he tries to stay away so his explosive personality won’t hurt them. This is also the reason why he strayed away from deku when they were young, so he wouldn’t eventually hurt him with his quirk.

Enji should’ve recognized it but the ONLY time they met was when he was injured and his vision was blurry. He DID NOT actually see Dabi, which is more of a reason why I believe he is Touya. In the anime the one situation they would’ve met was during the raid but “coincidentally” Dabi was knocked out, nor was any information about him revealed. I’ve only recently watched BNHA and thought the theory was absolutely ridiculous but goddammit I KNOW something big is going on between them.

Later on in the manga when Endeavour undergoes character development, Shoto slowly starts to accept him and look up to him more so their relationship can only improve from there. Shoto and Endeavour will eventually have a stable Father Son relationship, leading Shoto to actually care about Endeavour. That could lead to him wanting to avenge Endeavour, plus anyone would want to avenge their father.
Maybe they build up Todoroki and Endeavour’s relationship more and more as the manga goes on, then all of a sudden Dabi kills Endeavour and I don’t know. Kidnaps Rei or something. Then Todoroki is one pissed boi and pulls an Iida

The Dabi-Touya theory is about 90% confirmed at this point. Everything lines up too perfectly. But I don't understand why people think Natsuo has a fire quirk. He has white hair and he's sensitive to warm weather, so it's safer to assume he's an ice-user.
There's one important thing to clarify about 5:08. The statement was fan translated as "Rei's weak constitution". Which is technically true since that's where it comes from, but in Japanese the original phrase was 冷の体質. The translators probably thought it was a namedrop since 冷 is used for Rei's name, but 冷 is ALSO a word for "cold". 体質 specifically refers to the physical state of the body. More accurately, the phrase would mean "cold constitution" or "cold physique". Touya is a fire user who inherited a body suited for ice. He's weak to his own flames, kinda like he has an autoimmune disease.
People speculated about this ever since the manga portrayed kid Touya as smaller than kid Natsuo and kid Fuyumi despite him supposedly being the oldest.
Yeah, Dabi also has a weaker body than Shoto (less muscular to his proportion) and even tells Twice he gets car sick easily

I think Dabi not being a Todoroki is impossible. In the provisional license exams, Shoto realizes that his past actions were the cause of his failure, and there's a bit of a parallel there to Endeavor's struggle as he taked up the mantle of #1 hero. Endeavor begins to try to come to terms with his past and actions as well, which is interestingly right around the time that Touya is brought up. Basically, I predict that this will all come to a head with Dabi confronting Endeavor, beating him, and Shoto stepping in to keep Dabi from killing their dad. Or maybe Dabi will try to kill Shoto to get even with Endeavor, since Shoto is Endeavor's "masterpiece".

Another way to look at Dabi "meeting" Endeavor. Remember that Natsuo mentions that Endeavor never spent any time with them that he has a hard time even thinking of Endeavor as a father. So Dabi acting like it's his first meeting can be seen as that. Another way is that this is DABI meeting Endeavor, not Touya, in that Dabi abandoned the name Touya and became Dabi.

I have a strong feeling that Dabi was meeting Endeavor and Shoto for the first time... is it possible Touya was experimented on and became Dabi? Especially with all the Nomu and All for One operations....i mean all of his burns have stitches... it looks a lot like surgery work. Maybe Touya was killed and his body was used by All for One to keep someone else alive or give someone else Touya's body and quirk. Is that possible?
I like the whole zombie or nomu body theories, it is interesting given the patchwork he has
Thad Davis all for one would know who Dabi is at that point in the story. Dabi and Toga came to the league of villains on their own whim. Maybe like Shotos mother he hated the sight of his father.. tried to get rid of the burns and create his own identity but this theory seems a little far fetched for me.

I really like the idea of Dabi, Shouto, and Endeavour mirroring Azula, Zuko, and Ozai.
Also it really does make a lot of sense. The parallels between Zuko and Shouto are very prominent. Endeavour and Ozai do have some similarities. Dabi having blue fire would make sense if they want to continue the parallels because when Azula is first introduced, one of the things that stand out the most is her blue fire
I used to think that shoto was a rip off from zuko cuz of the scar on the same place in his face and he has a flame quirk

Dabi said he was inspired by the Heor Killer, the hero killer defied Endevor, so I think in the end Dabi is the kind of viloian, that want to burn the hero world and show to people that thier hopes and dreams about heroes are a lie

Dabi being Endeavor’s son and being inspired by Stain still works very well together. All his life Dabi was raised.m by a “false hero.” Now that Endeavor is #1 its only right he gets exposed for the trash man that he his. It’ll deal a big blow to his current redemption arc. Which is prolly were its leaning.

I always thought it was interesting how Horikoshi, during the raid to rescue Bakugo, decided to put Endeavor outside of the villain’s base. It almost seems as if Horikoshi didn’t want Dabi and Endeavor to be in the same room. And how Gran Torino decided to list all the real names of every villain in the room EXCEPT Dabi who was conveniently knocked out right before doing so.

About the Torino revealing names part, I have to make a small correction; Dabi wasn't the only one not included. Kurogiri's was also unconscious and his real name ALSO wasn't revealed.
Y’all.. yall know Dabis body is completely burnt..he has no skin and the “skin” you do see is is just what he had left and keeps on with the stitches.. the reason he’s all burnt up is cuz of his dad and the harsh punishment and training he went through..not including his weakness to fire inherited by his mom.. all in all dabi went crazy and decided to fight back instead be under his dad and he dipped out in a blaze “accident” making everyone think toya todoroki was dead and this Dabi is born
Maybe he's a bastard child of Endeavor. I mean, the guy was obsessed with creating the perfect heir, so maybe he tried to make one with some random strong quirk woman.

I know i’m super late but.. in season 2 endeavor uses blue flame on a weak nomu so i guess that kinda gives off a hint
Theory: dabi isnt a todoroki but All for One took the real touyas quirk and gave it to dabi and dabi knows this so he becomes intrigued by the todoroki family and how touya ended up running away and getting his quirk taken.

I see a lot of people pointing out the eye colour, too, but nobody has mentioned the eye shapes... There's a striking resemblance throughout the entire Todoroki family and Dabi is no exception. Not only eye shape but face shape and etc too. Not to mention, the fighting styles of Dabi and Shouto's left side are practically identical (It could just be a laziness thing, but they *reuse* animations for the two)
I guess eye shape is a bit harder to tell in anime, but eye color for sure

I think the part where dabi "gets emotional" over murdering snatch, he's responding to what was said about the families of people he's killed. he "thought so much about it" he "almost went crazy", I think that's just his response to the concept of family. he thinks about someone else's family, well, do their families actually care? his own family--his own father--was utter shit. he was robbed of a true family by what expectations his father placed on his offspring.
