So no matter how perfect his quirks are for each other, they will never blend together perfectly (Something that we see in Bakugou). If Bakugou had this kind of quirk (having different chemicals being produced on different sides of his body) he'd have to clap or something every time he wants to cause an explosion, which is a minor inconvenience. However, if Todoroki had both his quirks blended and able to be used throughout his whole body, he wouldn't have the disadvantage of having to alternate between his left and right.

He won't be able to cool down the air enough to freeze because of the hellflame, but also not create fire because of his ice quirk (Can't melt ice if ice can't form). So this means that whenever he tries to freeze or burn his enemies (or both), they'll just feel a nice lukewarm breeze coming their way.

chodor tenzin His limit is that he has to use both powers not just one. So technically yes he has one but during a normal fight he counters his own limit just by using his quirk.

I, think. Kacchan's mom decided herself to play "Bad cop." Everyone constantly applauded Kacchan, so she set herself up to be the bad guy. Serving as a anchor to hold down her son's ego so he wouldn't become to egotistical. I'm not saying it worked. But she tried. She probably knew his dad is to passive to hold onto someone like Kacchan. So she was semi stuck always playing the bad cop. Rather then the two of them juggling the role. The problems she mentioned, she seemed to have been aware of them for a loooong time. Then again, her personality might just be rather explosive. And Kacchan got his personality from it. But honestly, everyone can easily see that she loves him dearly. And I'm sure Kacchan knows that well enough himself.
Katsuki loves his mother, because he yelled at the others of the kindergarten chapter:"what's wrong the way I was raised?!". He knows that his mother is always holding him back, actually he wants it that way, because he knows that he needs it. Arguing and telling their opinion is important, so he was raised to do. Even if it means to do it loudly.

There are multiple times she goes too far however which makes me think it may not all be an act or it started that way and she got into the role too much? I mean the prime example of her taking it too far to me is her berating Bakugo for being captured and blaming it one him.

Bakugou's parents are the best. So sweet yet real and strong. Perfectly balanced. I like the concept that loud doesn't always mean dysfunction a lot. It's good to look deeper before assuming
From my mother side I think more than half of the reason why we are loud is for how much he talked across the table (food is a big deal in the family).

while she's loud, she doesn't shut down communication. that's an important distinction. iirc, she encourages her husband to continue to communicate openly, but keeps bakugo's ego-centrism from taking over the conversation. tbh coupled with his temperament and taking value from others' praise of his talent, i'm not sure how bakugo's parents could even begin to mentor him, or even reel his attitude in, so pushing him to attend UA was probably their best option.

It's actually the nature vs nurture theory. Growing up with acidic sweat that can explode would make you timid especially during the All For One times since that could get your quirks stolen or killed whilst Bakugo's mom will stay young with a quirk that will rarely if never become dangerous so she can actually run wild since she can cause no harm and I bet she was popular hencewhy she understoond Bakugo so much.

Bakugo is actually a shy kid, and it's shown in this family episode where it shows us each and every Class A's parents. Bakugo uses his temper to hide his shyness, in a way, he hides it by being loud or angry, it also shows that Bakugo is always keeping his Quirk in control in a way of getting angry and keeping quiet or mean, he sees that shyness or being timid is a weakness and he saw that when Deku tried to help him, his emotions got worse in a way to keep his ability to go in a wrong way. If you remember in the training camp, Bakugo can increase his explosion by putting his hands in a drum of water to swear a lot, in a way, Bakugo is afraid to loose Deku or see him Die, he always holds back on Deku when they are set to fight on each other and keeps his distance from him when they team up. In short, Bakugo is a nice kid, he always scares and be mean on others to keep them away, it even overshadows some of his excitement in some sort of games and stuff, he only let loose when he knows he's not targeting anyone like in the training or when he attacks the stones Uraraka or Uravity and only goes on defensive when she attack head on. He made it look like he's using his quirk in full power to give her a fighting chance, as long as he can't see her attack properly, I mean, he knows her ability and he didn't even bother to look up, Bakugo is smart enough to know his and others strength and weaknesses.
I think an example of him just using a temper to hide his real personality is actually when he blows up Deku's notebook. He could have easily destroyed it completely, reduced it to ash, but instead he just burns it enough to show that he 'means business'.
I think he secretly is worried that deku hurts himself and tries to talk him out of being a hero in a harsh way in the beginning. He wasnt really a typical bully and tried to stop deku from being a hero, with his other issues that he secretl admires him.
Ned Barks It's so true he always says "Die Deku" but I just think that he got embarrassed because Deku tried to help him out when they were kids, Think about it HE is supposed to be the stronger one HE is supposed to have the powerful quirk. I honestly think in that moment he just got embarrassed and was afraid to show it. It doesn't help that the other kids were watching them. I'm speaking out of personal experience,granted I never lashed out at my friends for trying to help me, but I was in fact embarrassed and apologized to them if I did.
One thing that I really really wanted to be shown in the manga was how _Bakugo's parents and Deku's mom interacted._ Being childhood friends, I'm sure their parents must have met a lot. Not to mention Deku has missed a father figure in his life, and Masaru being a little meek might have seen himself in little Deku and want to look out for him. Also I would have liked to see how Bakugo's parents (especially Mitsuki) reacted to him distancing himself from Deku. I'm pretty sure they did not take it well, and must have spent a long time telling him that Bakugo was letting his pride get in the way of a very close friend. Bakugo isn't allowed to practise the use of his quirk at home, which leads me to assume that he's wrecked the house often enough for his mom to issue a ban (lol). Also I think we can all agree on the fact that Bakugo has more of his mother's personality than his father's. But seeing his mom, who had no insecurities about falling in love with a man who most people would say was timid and had no special quirk, Mitsuki isn't insecure, and Bakugo is the same way. He isn't really the type to pine if he feels like the person he likes is someone he can respect. So (gosh the Kiribaku and Kacchako shippers are going to skin me alive for this) I don't really see the feasibility of Bakugo being a tsundere and secretly liking Kirishima or Uraraka. I don't want to sink your ships, I promise. It's just that Bakugo right now is on a very single-minded track. He isn't thinking about _anything_ apart from how to get stronger. And in the off chance that he was, I can't see him being anything but straightforward about it. I can't see him being cagey about what he feels for more than 10 minutes; after which he'll promptly explode and say it all aloud, whether it's stuff he'll regret or not. The only thing Bakugo has been trying to suppress is his history with Deku - and that's because he's dealt with that for almost his entire life. I don't think it's changed his personality to the point that he'd go around being frustrated about 'feelings' for someone else but never act on them and let it eat him from the inside. I just like analysing characters and speculating on their canon behaviors; so I find it hard to believe than Bakugo can't finally make one good bro or mildly get along with one cheery girl without the Internet losing their minds. Just my take, anyway. I know it's a fandom thing. Please don't start a ship war. P.S: I find it really endearing that Masaru likes classical music! I know a lot of people think he's just kinda pathetic and lucked out, but I really like him. I have a headcanon of him trying to play old classic songs to Bakugo as a kid and everyone except Masaru finds the music kinda boring XD
Otaku-chan see I'm not mad about your observations because I never really thought of Bakugo as a tsundere character trope. I really like the Bakushima ship and even with your analysis in mind I don't think it sinks the ship. Bakugo does respect Kirishima and their interactions take a notable shift after the Sports Festival, where Kirishima gave Bakugo the hardest fight second to Todoroki (Uraraka trie, but ultimately, while clever, didn't really push Bakugo that hard). And as for no obvious declaration of love in the show yet there's 2 reasons: 1, it's a gay ship, which outside of BL stories isn't exactly common for anime and manga so either the author is waiting to build it up until when the reveal does happen people wont care as much and will just see two well realized characters romantically attached, or for reason 2: it's a Shounen anime and romance is low on the priority list for non protagonist characters. So we'll get moments like we've gotten and nothing more. (As a side note, re watch the episode where everyone is preparing for the final and tell me that the exchange between Bakugo and Kirishima about tutoring isn't a little flirty)

Even the movie was full of Kiribaku 😂😂Bakugo was given a chance to bring anyone to the expo(I think?) in I-island and he picked Kirishima. Kirishima bought two matching suits. Bakugo was worried when Kirishima defended him from the villains and he thanked Kirishima. A lot of reasons to ship Kiribaku..(They go to study dates 😂 mountain climbing [Bakugo's favorite hobby] they go to arcades, in the fantasy Au Kirishima was Bakugo's dragon) They like each other whether you see it as friends or lovers it's up to you. I won't say Bakugo is completely tsundere but he does act that way sometimes but he deeply cares about Kirishima. But I doubt it will be canon but it's still a good ship 👍
I don't think official merchandise or anything that isn't directly written by Horikoshi counts as canon. Judging by what I've seen in anime marketing, it's common for anime official merchandise to have shippy fanservice in the them. Some even go waaay overboard with it that it even gets a bit explicit despite canon story not having romance elements between those characters. Spinoffs are always written by someone else other than the author and they usually have some varying levels of OOC even though the author agreed for them to be published under the official label, so honestly they're simply just licensed fanfiction. It's all just to pander to fans and make them happy, but take it as a grain of salt if you're talking about canon.
I don't want to write a lot cause I need to sleep, but I did just want to say as far as Katsuki's personality goes, I think some from his dad does show, and that's, unfortunately in stark contrast to what you said, INsecurity. Think about how he looks at Deku. He keeps Midoriya down because he's afraid he might have the stuff of a hero more naturally. Seeing as that's made him want to see Midoriya as the furthest thing from a hero because he thinks he'd be better otherwise, it may be a reason why he's so rude, harsh and mean, because he's tried to become the exact opposite of Midoriya. Just a thought. But yeah I like your analysis overall, but I just don't think he's very secure at all. I don't know if you're an anime only, but if you are there's gonna be a scene at the end of this season (likely the season finale actually) that'll support what I'm saying anymore. That's not really a spoiler, but still I hope you don't mind.
Conner Forbis don't worry, I read the manga, I know exactly what you're referring too. And I agree that he's insecure about Izuku - it's the biggest thing plaguing his mind. Bakugo is definitely insecure and feels like Izuku's very existence makes Bakugo's presence in a hero school redundant. However what I don't approve of is how people try to superimpose the insecurity Bakugo only feels regarding Izuku onto "feelings" for someone else. People aren't that one dimensional. Bakugo can have an inferiority complex and _still_ be very open about what he feels about other classmates like Uraraka and Kirishima. I don't disagree with anything you said, all I had originally wanted to say is that when it comes to romance(honestly he's not the type to develop feelings like that right now) Bakugo is never going to get coy or too angsty regarding his true feelings. Unless of course, someone ships Bakugo and Midoriya, which is a discussion I'll save for another time.

Mitsuki and Masaru are cute together because you wouldn't think Mitsuki would go for the beta male type, let alone be the one to aggressively pursue it. But clearly she's able to look beyond the surface level stuff.

Bakugo's quirk would be better if he could cause explosions all over his body, not just his palms. Edit: Bakugo can't cause explosions anywhere but his palms if he could why wouldn't he do so there is no down sides. It was even stated that he can only cause explosions from his hands.

She yells at her husband for not being assertive enough, and she yells at Bakugo because she thinks his attitude needs changing. From what I can tell, Mitsuki genuinely cares about her son since she knows Bakugo from the inside out. She's not a totally great parent though, and though I don't think Bakugo's insecurity of being too weak and causing All Might's retirement is all because of Mitsuki, Mitsuki definetly planted those seeds of doubt in his head from a young age.

I love how Bakugo's mom isnt like other moms in reality who think their kid is special and deserve more than others because they are simply talented. She knows character is more important, so she doesnt tolerate Bakugo's arrogance and entitlement despite his powerful quirk.

Some people have interpreted Bakugo's mom as abusive because of how she blamed him for his kidnapping. She called him weak and not strong enough, yet she didn't take a second to try and see how it may have effected Bakugo. So maybe that's why he's an ego maniac? Maybe he's used to his mom being a put down so he ignores what she says and builds up his ego so that he doesn't have to consider his insecurities? Idk, I'm not that far into the manga, but it would explain a bit.

He's never seen being scared or upset by her- rather, he talks back and fights her aggression with even more aggression. After getting a good read on Masaru's personality from this, I kind of want a fan comic now of him chewing out Bakugou(for a legit reason) really explosively(bc I find most quiet people tend to get really passionate if they hit this point) and then just the last page be Mitsuki dragging him away with a blush on her face. Bakugou asks where they're going and Mitsuki says "To make you a sibling.". So like 95% serious then just a funny at the end.
I just love how the todoroki/bakugo relationships portray how love can affect even conceiving a child. Bakugos parents love each other and his quirk could be seen as thier love naturally developing together into his quirk. A bit of both of them together melding to make him. Todoroki's parents were forcing his quirk and eventually after kids with one quirk dominating the other were born, they compromised and created him. Even his hair shows a begrudging merge of the two, not a natural love that mixed together.

I think one important point to make for the todorokis is that not only was there neglect but we can't shy away from the fact that Endeavor was an abusive father and husband.Saying just “ neglect” I think silverlines a deeper issue in that family. Seeing comments about how the family function is sweet and adorable makes me burn. His mother is emotionally and physically *abusive.* Not only after he gets out of a kidnapping, she blames him for being weak and getting kidnapped and slaps him for doing nothing but being quiet. She victim-blamed him and no one in his family thought to get him help. He almost died the first time and didn't get therapy then and when he got kidnapped, he didn't get therapy there. You also can tell that he has been dealing with this toxic parenting for years and that it's nothing new. Instead he thinks that this is normal and that he actually believes that All Nights state was his fault, that the pro heroes who got hurt was his fault. This was because his *mother* stated that it was his fault for being so weak that he got kidnapped and that others got hurt. Even more is that his father just sits there watching it happen. This is not anywhere good. If anyone denies this, either you don't understand abuse or you yourself are being abused and do not want to accept it. Edit: By the first time, I mean the sludge villain accident.

Bakugou is actually mostly only loud because when he was young they yelled a lot, and bakugou explosions strengthening made loud noises, causing him to have severe hearing loss. So now he yells mostly because he can’t really hear how loud he actually is being

I love that Masaru achieved everything Endeavor wanted without even trying!! I also totally agree that just because they’re loud doesn’t mean they’re dysfunctional, it just means theres never any lack of communication. Also, side note: if Masaru and Mitsuki are a proof of concept for Katsuki and Uraraka then they’re also definitely a proof of concept for Kacchan and Deku. So no matter how perfect his quirks are for each other, they will never blend together perfectly (Something that we see in Bakugou). If Bakugou had this kind of quirk (having different chemicals being produced on different sides of his body) he'd have to clap or something every time he wants to cause an explosion, which is a minor inconvenience. However, if Todoroki had both his quirks blended and able to be used throughout his whole body, he wouldn't have the disadvantage of having to alternate between his left and right.

I just find it funny how the Bakugo's quirks are the exact opposite of their personalities. The dad has the explosive and flashy quirk, but the mom is the one who's got the short fuse.
It's actually the nature vs nurture theory. Growing up with acidic sweat that can explode would make you timid especially during the All For One times since that could get your quirks stolen or killed whilst Bakugo's mom will stay young with a quirk that will rarely if never become dangerous so she can actually run wild since she can cause no harm and I bet she was popular hencewhy she understoond Bakugo so much.

Bakugo is actually a shy kid, and it's shown in this family episode where it shows us each and every Class A's parents. Bakugo uses his temper to hide his shyness, in a way, he hides it by being loud or angry, it also shows that Bakugo is always keeping his Quirk in control in a way of getting angry and keeping quiet or mean, he sees that shyness or being timid is a weakness and he saw that when Deku tried to help him, his emotions got worse in a way to keep his ability to go in a wrong way. If you remember in the training camp, Bakugo can increase his explosion by putting his hands in a drum of water to swear a lot, in a way, Bakugo is afraid to loose Deku or see him Die, he always holds back on Deku when they are set to fight on each other and keeps his distance from him when they team up.
In short, Bakugo is a nice kid, he always scares and be mean on others to keep them away, it even overshadows some of his excitement in some sort of games and stuff, he only let loose when he knows he's not targeting anyone like in the training or when he attacks the stones Uraraka or Uravity and only goes on defensive when she attack head on. He made it look like he's using his quirk in full power to give her a fighting chance, as long as he can't see her attack properly, I mean, he knows her ability and he didn't even bother to look up, Bakugo is smart enough to know his and others strength and weaknesses.
I think an example of him just using a temper to hide his real personality is actually when he blows up Deku's notebook. He could have easily destroyed it completely, reduced it to ash, but instead he just burns it enough to show that he 'means business'.
I think he secretly is worried that deku hurts himself and tries to talk him out of being a hero in a harsh way in the beginning. He wasnt really a typical bully and tried to stop deku from being a hero, with his other issues that he secretl admires him.
I definitely believe that he is not only a tsundere but the best tsundere... yeah okay I might have a tiny crush on him but that's not the point!
Thats why he is the most interesting character in the entire series, even more than stain or endavour.

One thing that I really really wanted to be shown in the manga was how _Bakugo's parents and Deku's mom interacted._ Being childhood friends, I'm sure their parents must have met a lot. Not to mention Deku has missed a father figure in his life, and Masaru being a little meek might have seen himself in little Deku and want to look out for him.
Also I would have liked to see how Bakugo's parents (especially Mitsuki) reacted to him distancing himself from Deku. I'm pretty sure they did not take it well, and must have spent a long time telling him that Bakugo was letting his pride get in the way of a very close friend.
Bakugo isn't allowed to practise the use of his quirk at home, which leads me to assume that he's wrecked the house often enough for his mom to issue a ban (lol).
Also I think we can all agree on the fact that Bakugo has more of his mother's personality than his father's. But seeing his mom, who had no insecurities about falling in love with a man who most people would say was timid and had no special quirk, Mitsuki isn't insecure, and Bakugo is the same way. He isn't really the type to pine if he feels like the person he likes is someone he can respect. So (gosh the Kiribaku and Kacchako shippers are going to skin me alive for this) I don't really see the feasibility of Bakugo being a tsundere and secretly liking Kirishima or Uraraka. I don't want to sink your ships, I promise. It's just that Bakugo right now is on a very single-minded track. He isn't thinking about _anything_ apart from how to get stronger. And in the off chance that he was, I can't see him being anything but straightforward about it. I can't see him being cagey about what he feels for more than 10 minutes; after which he'll promptly explode and say it all aloud, whether it's stuff he'll regret or not.
The only thing Bakugo has been trying to suppress is his history with Deku - and that's because he's dealt with that for almost his entire life. I don't think it's changed his personality to the point that he'd go around being frustrated about 'feelings' for someone else but never act on them and let it eat him from the inside.
I just like analysing characters and speculating on their canon behaviors; so I find it hard to believe than Bakugo can't finally make one good bro or mildly get along with one cheery girl without the Internet losing their minds. Just my take, anyway. I know it's a fandom thing. Please don't start a ship war.
P.S: I find it really endearing that Masaru likes classical music! I know a lot of people think he's just kinda pathetic and lucked out, but I really like him. I have a headcanon of him trying to play old classic songs to Bakugo as a kid and everyone except Masaru finds the music kinda boring XD
Otaku-chan see I'm not mad about your observations because I never really thought of Bakugo as a tsundere character trope. I really like the Bakushima ship and even with your analysis in mind I don't think it sinks the ship. Bakugo does respect Kirishima and their interactions take a notable shift after the Sports Festival, where Kirishima gave Bakugo the hardest fight second to Todoroki (Uraraka trie, but ultimately, while clever, didn't really push Bakugo that hard). And as for no obvious declaration of love in the show yet there's 2 reasons: 1, it's a gay ship, which outside of BL stories isn't exactly common for anime and manga so either the author is waiting to build it up until when the reveal does happen people wont care as much and will just see two well realized characters romantically attached, or for reason 2: it's a Shounen anime and romance is low on the priority list for non protagonist characters. So we'll get moments like we've gotten and nothing more.
(As a side note, re watch the episode where everyone is preparing for the final and tell me that the exchange between Bakugo and Kirishima about tutoring isn't a little flirty)

Even the movie was full of Kiribaku 😂😂Bakugo was given a chance to bring anyone to the expo(I think?) in I-island and he picked Kirishima. Kirishima bought two matching suits. Bakugo was worried when Kirishima defended him from the villains and he thanked Kirishima. A lot of reasons to ship Kiribaku..(They go to study dates 😂 mountain climbing [Bakugo's favorite hobby] they go to arcades, in the fantasy Au Kirishima was Bakugo's dragon) They like each other whether you see it as friends or lovers it's up to you. I won't say Bakugo is completely tsundere but he does act that way sometimes but he deeply cares about Kirishima. But I doubt it will be canon but it's still a good ship 👍
I don't think official merchandise or anything that isn't directly written by Horikoshi counts as canon. Judging by what I've seen in anime marketing, it's common for anime official merchandise to have shippy fanservice in the them. Some even go waaay overboard with it that it even gets a bit explicit despite canon story not having romance elements between those characters. Spinoffs are always written by someone else other than the author and they usually have some varying levels of OOC even though the author agreed for them to be published under the official label, so honestly they're simply just licensed fanfiction. It's all just to pander to fans and make them happy, but take it as a grain of salt if you're talking about canon.
I don't want to write a lot cause I need to sleep, but I did just want to say as far as Katsuki's personality goes, I think some from his dad does show, and that's, unfortunately in stark contrast to what you said, INsecurity. Think about how he looks at Deku. He keeps Midoriya down because he's afraid he might have the stuff of a hero more naturally. Seeing as that's made him want to see Midoriya as the furthest thing from a hero because he thinks he'd be better otherwise, it may be a reason why he's so rude, harsh and mean, because he's tried to become the exact opposite of Midoriya. Just a thought. But yeah I like your analysis overall, but I just don't think he's very secure at all. I don't know if you're an anime only, but if you are there's gonna be a scene at the end of this season (likely the season finale actually) that'll support what I'm saying anymore. That's not really a spoiler, but still I hope you don't mind.
Conner Forbis don't worry, I read the manga, I know exactly what you're referring too. And I agree that he's insecure about Izuku - it's the biggest thing plaguing his mind. Bakugo is definitely insecure and feels like Izuku's very existence makes Bakugo's presence in a hero school redundant. However what I don't approve of is how people try to superimpose the insecurity Bakugo only feels regarding Izuku onto "feelings" for someone else. People aren't that one dimensional. Bakugo can have an inferiority complex and _still_ be very open about what he feels about other classmates like Uraraka and Kirishima. I don't disagree with anything you said, all I had originally wanted to say is that when it comes to romance(honestly he's not the type to develop feelings like that right now) Bakugo is never going to get coy or too angsty regarding his true feelings. Unless of course, someone ships Bakugo and Midoriya, which is a discussion I'll save for another time.

She yells at her husband for not being assertive enough, and she yells at Bakugo because she thinks his attitude needs changing. From what I can tell, Mitsuki genuinely cares about her son since she knows Bakugo from the inside out.
She's not a totally great parent though, and though I don't think Bakugo's insecurity of being too weak and causing All Might's retirement is all because of Mitsuki, Mitsuki definetly planted those seeds of doubt in his head from a young age.

I love how Bakugo's mom isnt like other moms in reality who think their kid is special and deserve more than others because they are simply talented. She knows character is more important, so she doesnt tolerate Bakugo's arrogance and entitlement despite his powerful quirk.

Some people have interpreted Bakugo's mom as abusive because of how she blamed him for his kidnapping. She called him weak and not strong enough, yet she didn't take a second to try and see how it may have effected Bakugo. So maybe that's why he's an ego maniac? Maybe he's used to his mom being a put down so he ignores what she says and builds up his ego so that he doesn't have to consider his insecurities? Idk, I'm not that far into the manga, but it would explain a bit.

Her personality aside, I think she knows that her son is naturally ego driven and his quirk doesn't help humble him in anyway. I think she serves as a reminder that it's not just brute power or strength that can make a hero and that he needs to develop in other areas. Also Katsuki doesn't seem like type to accept coddling/babying.

At this point, he is so fueled on his own ego because people were able to build it up so high. But I can see where you're coming from. However, blaming someone for being kidnapped is still bad. She could have just supported him. Or, if he doesn't want to accept that, she could tell him that if he furthers his training in becoming a hero, he'll be able to defeat any villains that come his way. Bringing down an ego maniac through calling them "weak" is not going to help. Then they just continue out of spite.
Though, it could be that she is a loving mother who just has no idea how to deal with her son so she resorts to being insulting since he's been praised and idolized all his life. While that isn't the best way to handle Bakugo, his mom doesn't have to be perfect. She doesn't have an instruction booklet after all.

He's never seen being scared or upset by her- rather, he talks back and fights her aggression with even more aggression. To us, it seems harsh and jarring, but thats because we're not used to dynamics like that.

After getting a good read on Masaru's personality from this, I kind of want a fan comic now of him chewing out Bakugou(for a legit reason) really explosively(bc I find most quiet people tend to get really passionate if they hit this point) and then just the last page be Mitsuki dragging him away with a blush on her face. Bakugou asks where they're going and Mitsuki says "To make you a sibling.". So like 95% serious then just a funny at the end.
I just love how the todoroki/bakugo relationships portray how love can affect even conceiving a child. Bakugos parents love each other and his quirk could be seen as thier love naturally developing together into his quirk. A bit of both of them together melding to make him. Todoroki's parents were forcing his quirk and eventually after kids with one quirk dominating the other were born, they compromised and created him. Even his hair shows a begrudging merge of the two, not a natural love that mixed together.
I think it would be awesome if they show respect that Bakugo has for his dad. It would be a nice way to show how he differs at home.

I think one important point to make for the todorokis is that not only was there neglect but we can't shy away from the fact that Endeavor was an abusive father and husband.Saying just “ neglect” I think silverlines a deeper issue in that family. Also .... I kinda dont see the Bakugous as disfunctional at all? In fact I think they are a pretty healthy family who knows how to handle their special son... sure they yell a lot but they seem pretty happy as a family :)

Seeing comments about how the family function is sweet and adorable makes me burn. His mother is emotionally and physically *abusive.* Not only after he gets out of a kidnapping, she blames him for being weak and getting kidnapped and slaps him for doing nothing but being quiet. She victim-blamed him and no one in his family thought to get him help. He almost died the first time and didn't get therapy then and when he got kidnapped, he didn't get therapy there.
You also can tell that he has been dealing with this toxic parenting for years and that it's nothing new. Instead he thinks that this is normal and that he actually believes that All Nights state was his fault, that the pro heroes who got hurt was his fault. This was because his *mother* stated that it was his fault for being so weak that he got kidnapped and that others got hurt. Even more is that his father just sits there watching it happen. This is not anywhere good. If anyone denies this, either you don't understand abuse or you yourself are being abused and do not want to accept it.

I also totally agree that just because they’re loud doesn’t mean they’re dysfunctional, it just means theres never any lack of communication.
Also, side note: if Masaru and Mitsuki are a proof of concept for Katsuki and Uraraka then they’re also definitely a proof of concept for Kacchan and Deku. Cause honestly most the Bakugou parents interactions remind me of how Kacchan and Deku act towards each other! Just sayin.

if you watched it in dub it's different. In the sub, they make it clear that while he enjoys fighting and is aggressive, he would never seriously injure someone who isn't a villan. In the dub however they make him seem like he just wants to kill. the way they word it is off.
