Music was very good. But if you are going to wear our kilt. Then please wear it with respect and proper.

I had no idea there was a respectful and disrespectful way to wear a kilt. As Celtic musicians, I’d say we’ve got more than enough reason to wear kilts during performances 🙃

@@Malonepiper Yes and no. If you are trying to wear a kilt right, but don't !!! This means that you haven't put the time in to learn. If you are wearing a kilt. The flashes should be worn right, not almost in the centre of his leg, but at the side (looks like one not even wearing them, just black socks)! The kilt pin is way to far to off from wear it should be, 2in from the side. Again the guy with black socks not even wearing one. The guy in the white is wearing a Ghllie shirt. No problem there. But the belt is all wrong. (this kind of belt is worn with a utility kilt). I can go on and on like the head wear!! But there are 2 ways to way a kilt. The right way. Or you need to need your own style. Not a mix.
Look at the Red Hot Chilli Pipers. They love the band Red Hot Chilli Peppers. But has they are pipers and drummers. They did their music their in own way has with their own look. You should wear the kilt uniform the right way. Or do it different with style. Has you are in the USA. These guy's have a GREAT CZcams channel about everything you need to know about the kilt and how to wear it. They even have a shop in Pennsylvania (Spring City). On their YT they give so good advise. czcams.com/video/iV0M-Ey4ZV0/video.html

@@Malonepiper This is not to criticize your music. That you already have down (and I have watch this video 3 times as it's good). But the dress style does need looking at. You are all dressed different. A Scottish / Irish pipe band are always dressed the same. uniformed!

To make a long reply short, there are many opinions on how to wear Scottish dress. Your opinion is just one in the ocean of opinions. And that’s OK.
To reference the way I’m wearing my flashes, check out this article:

@@Malonepiper Ok I am not here to have a debate. I live here in Scotland (the low lands) and have been wearing kilts all my life (I am 60 this year). The website you linked me too has two things. First you need to look at where they are getting their information from? (they are from CA. USA. So what Scottish info do they have)? Research the website and the people giving this information. Anyone can make a website and upload pictures right!!!
But do they know about the information they are giving to people?? Second. If you look at the picture of the flashes (as you want to go the long mile). They are different on BOTH legs!! One of the pictures has one flash the right way (in the centre on the side of the leg) but the other flash is off centre by a lot. This is picture on the website you sent me. And if you are going be this. They are wrong.
The Sgian-dubh (hose knife) is always at the side of the leg, in the centre has shown in this picture (it does not matter if the Sgian-dubh is on the right or left side. It is always on the predominant side, meaning if you are right handed. It will be on your right side. If you are left handed. It will go in your left sock (kilt hose). (There is a reason why it goes on the left or the right. Let me know if you are interested in the reason why this is)!
And the centre of the flash should always be in the middle of the Sgian-dubh. This means everything is centred. But in this picture it is not. And if you are following this picture / website for how you dress. Then It's wrong. Sorry! Please get the right advice. Click onto the link I sent. Their shop is all kilts only (and a lot of Whiskey on camera)!
