Mine just come out as pink and no effects no shaders no nothing just a pink plane and I don’t know why
It is because you are not using the correct shader, you need to update the shader material
I'm on unity 2021.3.91f and this doesn't work for me. I keep getting the error of
MissingReferenceException: The variable defaultFoamRamp of WaterResources doesn't exist anymore.
You probably need to reassign the defaultFoamRamp variable of the 'WaterResources' script in the inspector.
And I don't see any water at all.
Works on my end i'm on Urp 2022.3.5f1 without errors

Make sure you install the burst package - its separate and won't auto install itself
When i try to do this I'm facing many errors..is tgere any thing else to do?
Maybe it broke in the newer version of Unity or something, but i can't get it working... There's one error,
"You can only call cameraColorTarget inside the scope of a ScriptableRenderPass. Otherwise the pipeline camera target texture might have not been created or might have already been disposed."
which might be what's giving me trouble, but i'm not sure. It doesn't quite look as nice as it does in this video, the foam is strange and changes position based on my camera, not solid objects, so if i go closer the foam goes further under the water (???), and it seems to interfere with the atmospheric fog render feature i have, causing it to flash like crazy. Looks fantastic, i wish it worked like it does in the video haha.
Make sure your project is URP. It works for me, Unity version 2021.3.8f1

Yes, you can download the project and build it for mobile for testing.
actually its giving some kind of error, GUIText (11, 16), USE ui.TEST INSTEAD?? WHAT SHOULD I DO TO RESOLVE IT .

works great, but when using the buoyancy script on multiple objects, they all have the same float/bounce. anyone figure out how to fix that? AND, it ALWAYS re-orients the GO to 0 on Y axis rotation when enabled
How did you manage the script? Mine doesnt work at all when I added it to an object

Hey just one question how do you get rid off the water following the active camera?
does anyone know if i could use this as water in my top down game? It seems like a much easier solution than animated tiles and a custom shader… (Yes, it’s a tile based game, that’s why i’m wondering if this would work well with 2D) I think it could look nice with the pixel perfect camera too. I’ll try it today and post the result if it’s nice!

Anyway to stop the lag when not in game mode? If i am not holding down the right mouse button the water lags constantly.

Is there really no water refraction in these engines, in 2021? :( (I'm just searching for a video about it but everywhere, there's no refraction or they think that ripples are refraction.)

Yeah, because this is meant to run on anything, not on an RTX 3090.
@@thelostskibidiestsigma It's not needed to trace even a single photon for refraction. Refraction is so easy to render that it could be implemented even in an old DOS-version Tomb Raider 1, running on a DX486 PC. (For planar or near-planar water surfaces, of course.)

Go to Edit > Render Pipeline > URP > Upgrade Project Materials

the script doesn't work. This turns off my URP until I remove your water.
The scripts work. Its made by unity. It can not turn off your URP, whatever is going on, is not because of script errors

Navigate to the cool folder called scripts. Then drag "BuoyantObject" onto the cube.
On the script in the cube, change Density to somthin like 10, and volume to somthin like 5.
And boom, done.

WHY IS IT PINK
Pink means the texture is missing or you're not on the correct Render Pipeline (the water package works on URP)
Another warning I will post. I downloaded the code and then I tried to push some of the files into my git. I got the error. I got some LFS errors. It took forever to figure out how to get rid of this error.
I don't recommend anyone download this code. It isn't maintained for new versions.

That means you're using the Built-in render Pipeline. This water system is for URP as i said in the video, but you can install the URP package from package manager or if you're starting a new project you can just choose a URP project from Unity hub.
