- Come behind-the-scenes on a Vanity Fair style portrait photoshoot using only 3 speedlites and an Avezano fabric backdrop in my living room! I’ll show you how I set up the backdrop, style my model, set-up my speedlites, the photoshoot and my basic editing workflow. I used the 10x15' Khaki backdrop.

Hi Nicole, we look forward to your new videos! It's magical! Very clear explanations of all the details. And besides this, I would like to know in more detail what additional light you use besides flashes. In your videos, I saw 2 or 3 light rings. I would like to know how you use them, when and where you install them. Do you use them only in a small room or in a large one too? Do you also use overhead light from a lamp on the ceiling? thanks in advance

Great photo. What difference would it make if a honeycomb was attached to the flash and directed towards the subject's hair in the background?
Now that I think of it, nice thing about blocking the window light is probably helpful for better modeling and lighting conceptualizing.
