nice to see more and more going with the speed 3! its a great little car and anyone who hates on our fwd cars are just mad because they are great for the money. they're decently quick stock and out handle many cars stock for stock, including the WRX. my first mod was the corksport SRI and TIP combo also. i have a 2010 and its decently modded with bolt-ons so if you have any questions, just ask!

Sorry for the late response. Cobb makes Accessports for various cars. Its basically an engine management device. You use them for lots of stuff but mainly its for flashing the stock ECU. Modern cars have so many sensors and involve so much computer management that you need to override it for most upgrades like turboback exhaust etc to actually generate gains. You can even have a tuner design a custom map and install it via the accessport, or build your car based one of the downloadable maps.

Pretty sure this is Anthony (driver311) if this is in Boise. His car is badass. He is now rocking a built motor on a gtx3071 with everything in between. He rocks yellowspeed CO's.

Basically, you can start bolting all kinds of crap onto an MS3, STI, EVO, etc. and it really wont do much (sometimes even hurt the car) if the computer doesnt know how to handle all the new parts/information. The accessport also has a bunch of other useful features to measure and monitor engine performance or diagnose problems. You can learn more at Cobb's website. Also, buy a new rear motor mount. Its the other absolute must. I can tell you why later if you want but Im out of space
