He thought that if he could encourage more fools to go through at speed and end up knackered by the side of the road he could say it wasn't just him and that the water is different to the sort he's used to !😂🤣👍

0:10 lovely lady full of the joys of life. 5:45 Nasty git......"I've hydrolocked my car, so you go do yours." 7:55 Guy doesn't realise that his car now has an alternator and not a dynamo, so revving the engine to that extend will not make the battery charge faster.
Hi there. Did you record me and my partner as we towed our broken down saab with a grey ferguson tractor? If so we would love to see the clip :-) Thanks Oh loving the videos as well
I don't know why people risk destroying their car on deep puddles. I feel bad for the car at 7:30. Revving that much wont charge it any faster. The alternator does have a limit. Just 2000 RPM (or even 2500 RPM max) is more than enough to charge . Yesterday I saw some muppets in a basic 2 wheel drive 2001 TOYOTA HILUX UTILITY (2.7 litre petrol) with a loud exhaust. They were flogging it hard, bouncing it off the rev limiter next to some other boy racer and basically being idiots. Not exactly a race car but they thought it was I guess.
Interesting to see how the Yaris coped with it. Evidently the number plate came off, but the engine air intake is about 650 mm above ground (my car is one of those). Could be a gamble as to whether the engine would try to start (it probably wouldn’t be running rolling downhill) and suck in some water. Of course, the traction motor could have a bit of a wash, as it were. Don’t think I’d try going through a ford like that, though! The electric cooling fan and the 3 radiators behind the grill wouldn’t like it either.
What's with the whip noises? I didn't see one horse and cart going through. And the chav in the Corsa..... you don't charge a battery any faster by revving the engine. The alternator has a limiter so as not to overcharge a battery. All you revved was your ego and Argos necklace
thats next level stupid revving the engine to Charge a Battery faster. Modern Car alternators are regulated and they provide around 14 Volts at just a bit above idle and revving faster does not increase voltage or amps
When a diesel sucks water in it can’t compress it so the con rods bend that’s why the noise and smoke appear, petrol engines take a bit more punishment as the compression is lower and turbos don’t help 🥴
Found this on Google - “Depending on when and how the damage occurred, a hydrolocked engine may or may not be covered by your comprehensive insurance policy. Most insurance companies will accept your claim if the damage is weather-related, but if it results from poor maintenance, foolish driving, or misuse, your claim will be denied.”
