Hugh's dry, hilarious persona next to Timothee's happy golden retriever = new iconic duo
I don't know about the happy golden retriever - he used to be one, but seems to have matured and changed a little bit. Or maybe he's just tired...Loads of promotional interviews will do that to you.
@@monmothma3358 True. I still find him to be awkward and overly humble though lol.
@@heatherbukowski2102 Yeah, when you see how magnetic he is in movies like Dune, you'd never believe how shy and awkward he is in real life. (Or seems in interviews, anyway.) Great actor, I guess!
he doesnt seem shy magnetic or humble..please
@@molly777 His ONSCREEN characters are magnetic... and he was shy, humble and very awkward in all his early TV interviews, which can be see on CZcams. He's older now, so less shy now.
Rarely do we get to see interviews so well conducted - having the actors feel at ease and comfortable. Kudos to the host for leading this interview with such grace.
Wow. I couldn’t disagree more. They are hating every second. She’s so sickly, sweet and fake. I wish they would hire actual actors for these interviews because these questions are so asinine and stupid.
@@thegirlwholovesmusichaha I agree, the host was cringe all the way through.
Tim seemed fine with it, Hugh was clearly in British panic mode, his face and manner was screaming I would like to go home now.
I mean I think she did a good job
Eww, the host was cringy. Too much flattery, too much giggling, yuck.
hugh : “no english man enjoys dancing” 😂
tom holland begs to differ!
So does Tom Hiddleston! 🕺🏼
I have a feeling Timothee and Hugh will shine together! I was 12 when the Johnny Depp/Tim Burton version came out. And yet I’ve seen the Gene Wilder version more times. When this new project was announced, I was surprised we were getting a retelling of Wonka’s origin. But the more I’ve seen in the trailers and with the ensemble, the more confident I’ve been feeling it’ll be something magical. Which is no easy task in today’s franchise obsessed cinematic climate!
Wow I love this and I agree
@@victoriafeatherstone9442 Why thank you
I love Hugh's humor. And of course I love Timmy.
"Too late, I've started dancing now. Once we've started we cant stop."
I could have use that line all through my twenties.
Who doesn't LOVE Hugh Grant! Have from the very beginning of his career and continue to look for him, he is just great and makes me happy to enjoy his performances!
He’s adorable ❤
I’ve been a fan of him since Music & Lyrics
@@manuelorozco7760 Notting Hill and Mickey Blue Eyes for me ❤️
@@marcellaoreilly2730 Noting Hill is all right!
Love him in "About a Boy": "I'm bloody Ibiza!"
Just seen the film and absolutely loved it. Timothee was a delight and Hugh Grant as an oompa loompa stole the scene every time. Everyone was so magical l. Loved it 🙌❤️
I love their chemistry together im this interview and the way timothEE took that compliment from Hugh, you can tell he meant every word of what he told the interviewer on his thoughts ❤ also they nailed this movie in my opinion
What a wonderful host.her energy set the conversation going beautifully.
I was just thinking that!
Aww!! Thank you for your kind words. The Internet can be a scary place -- I appreciate your sweet words! Made my day!!!
@@PowerDiva Thank you!!! Xo
I loved the enthusiasm too!
"Other people's parents are lawyers.. and have human rights, and im an oompa loompa." HAHAH love him
I can’t help smiling through this. I agree with Hugh that camera loves Thimoty and now I know what I’ve been attracted to Hugh’s performance. Camera loves him. I’m so happy with Thimo that he had opportunity.
And I understand why the interviewer keeps smiling and flattered. Good job. Love it. Thanks.
IT'S TIMOTHEE
My daughter loved ❤️ this film so much. Her Dad took her to the cinema. Father daughter time is so precious. I didn't mind dog 🐕 🐶 sitting. I look forward to watching it when it's on TV. Two brilliant actor's.
Hugh was like when is this interview over i want to go home LOL😂😂😂😂
That's his persona since like forever. Also, this hyper interviewer doesn't help
Yes, he had the "oh God, just kill me now" look. I think a lot of Brits just hate the fake, gushing, bubbly act that American entertainment interviewers do. My favorite Brit reaction was Robert Smith of The Cure when he was interviewed by a similar gushy, cringey red-carpet goof at his Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame induction. 😬
@melanies.6030 THIS WAS EXACTLY what I had in mind during this whole interview Hahaha "by the sounds of it NO", lol
You should see him on One Bite Pizza Reviews 😂
Hugh Grant is still a heartthrob at 63!
Hugh was really uncomfortable with that american high energy 😂😂 just look at 7:50 that sums it all up 🤣
Oddly, Hugh Grant looks better than ever as he ages.
His face now fits his personality
@@MsTrianglehe’s hilarious in press junket interviews
@@RedDevil_Joei know!
Two gorgeous witty guys together. What’s not to like. Can’t wait to see it.
HUGH was the Timmy in his time and both are brilliant actors!!
Hugh is an international treasure 😂😂😂😂😂
Another incredible Wonka interview! Timmy and Hugh just balance well off each other!
He’s adorable. I hope that business doesn’t ruin his soul.
Timmy Tim needs to make a comeback ASAP
FR 🦅🦅🗣🗣
She’s a good interviewer. Credit to her.
😊😊😊😊😊😊 *Who would have thought this 90s heartthrob would be playing an Umpa Lumpa. And I love it*
One of the best interviews, genuine and respectful fun host.
❤❤❤❤ *My two favorite actors who both have great humor and are actually pretty good at singing*
Timmy Tim needs to go on tour lol
Featuring Troye Sivan! The "twinks collide" world tour 💫💕😂
Isn't Smoke Chedda Tha A$$ Getta on SNL the evolution of Timmy Tim?
Hugh grant is the ultimate cynical Brit 😂😂😂 I have never witnessed this man get over the top or even under the top excited. 😂😂😂
This book was my favorite book as a child and I read it to my niece and nephews and my own children. I love that it’s the story before the original book. Can’t wait to see it. Hope it does the book justice. Hugh is a marvelous oompah lumpa. Hope it becomes a wonderful classic kids movie.
❤
I enjoyed this interview very much.
Loved the hostess, love Timmy and Hugh
Hugh‘s accent is a FAV. and his and Timothee‘s energies together is just 😍😆 can’t wait to see this
I feel like Hugh is just really trying to humour everyone here for the sake of the show but secretly cringing over all of it in a good way of course😅luv ya Hugh❤️
It's what you have to do for marketing and promotion... temper your natural grumpiness...
He became such a grump...wth 😂
As a fellow Brit I can assure you he is displaying all the subtle signs of British panic in the face of an overly happy person he is being forced to interact with.
BOTH OF THEM ARE ADORABLE ❤
seen this film twice already 😅 worth it
Phenomenal cast!
Class act both of them! This was almost like a passing of the torch of sorts! Beautiful!
love them! love the interview! 🤩🤩 she's great at her job 😘
Wait that’s so so so kind of you to say. Hi it’s me I’m the interviewer. Thank you ❤❤❤
@@cassiedilaura hi you might not see this but I just want to say your so pretty and professional, your like everything I aim to be ❤
Ikrrrrr
They really were both great in this movie!!
Love them both ❤ And the entire cast! but i´m dying to see Olivia again
I absolutely LUV sum Hugh Grant! 🥰
We need a exhibition of this set
"They know they have to love it" has me dying of laughter🤣
Paul King movies are the best. He has a magical vision of the world. He also has a group of actors who obviously love to work with him especially those from Paddington 2 who show up in Wonka as well in many roles.
Hugh is hilarious, always has been!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣... Timothy is just wonderful so cute and lovely... I can't wait to see it!!! 😌😌😌💕💕💕....
i want to watch this one hugh is my damn idol!!!!!
We need Timothy and Hugh duo they so funny without knowing
Eu amo o Hugh ❤maravilhoso.
I’m getting Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling from this duo and I’m not upset about it
Timothée does have an amazing smile. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
The marketing team missed a trick here. They should’ve put Hugh with Rowan Atkinson for these press junkets…it would’ve been hilarious
Great movie. Had an amazing time.
great interviewer!!!
TIMMY TIM WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART
Loved that movie, Wonka👏👏👏👏😊
The interviewer was really good here, complimentary without being cringe.
Timothy is so talented and sweet!
Great movie. I just loved it!
Hilarious Hugh! Always a delight!
I think I have fallen in love with the interviewer, she is charming and beautiful.
and a simulacrum of "charming" and "bubbly" with little to no human originality or realness to add in there, but that's okay, she does the persona well.
Great Interview ❤
Who doesn't love Hugh? And Timothee.? I'm going straight in heaven... ❤
the interviewer was so lovely
Hugh❤
here for Hugh Grant. obvs.
Shiny new leading duo!!!
❤️🔥✨LOVE T.H.C. this young man never fails to shine 🌟 BUH him and Mr. Grant, W🤩W what a duo! More please. Gr8 job, THANK 🌷🌻🌹✨ 🙏🏽
Very sweet
I’m sure this film is cute but I prefer Hugh Grant in the romcoms. He’s still got it, and I hope he makes more of them. ❤ Truly a special talent. Perhaps he could do a story about a secret agent who falls in love with somebody during a mission. 😂
I don't think there will be such a chance, he seems has gone down the road of being a bad guy and a weirdo forever😆Have you watched that HBO series Undoing? Although he started out as a loving husband to Nicole Kidman, he was later revealed to be a narcissistic murderer😮💨 P.S.: I also love his romcoms, especially Notting Hill, Bridget.Jones.DiaryI, Music and Lyrics, Florence Foster Jenkins(his performance was better though he was aged). I also quite enjoy his not that famous romcoms: Did You Hear About the Morgans, Rewriting,Two Weeks Notice and Impromptu. He looks amazing in Maurice and act decent in Extreme Measures(is not a romcom).
Timothee omg love you
Ompa lumpa series ASAP
I love them both! But I was distracted by the music during the interview . It's really unnecessary.
Tim did wonderful job as Wonka
Timmy es Timmy ..........❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Me encanto. ❤
This fawning interview with relentless expectation to say how good stars are, and each other, would have been utterly nauseating to Hugh Grant. No thoughtful questions about the interpretation, the characters, or anything about the film at all. And this interview would have been like every other in these press junkets. Bad enough for Timothée Chalamet, a living recurring nightmare for Hugh Grant. Both actors made the best of the situation. All kudos to them!
He is a great celebritie
"the sets where enormous en wondrous "
*showing us CGI scenes*
I see Timmy Tim and my brain goes straight to cling, cling , cling.
Fantastic host. This is how interviews should be.
Why I feel there is something whenever I see Hugh
0:13 which episode of Lazy Town is this ?
요 조합 너무좋아요
한국에도 와주시지~~~
This interviewer is awesome!
Timmy tim is a legend😂
These interviews are a bit awks because I've heard so many actors talk about how tiring a press junket is, the parade of interviewers over and over, often asking the same questions. Still, Hugh seemed softened a bit by Timothee and Chalamet has that Tom Hanks class with the press.
The interviewer is so focused on Timmy lol, poor Hugh❤ he is senior with more experience now cummon!
Considering how much Hugh hates interviews he probably saw it as a blessing
These promo interviews are always painful to watch, but this interviewer was way over the top with her fangirling and squealing.
Hugh Grant has been very grumpy lately. 😂
He's always grumpy😂 I love him, though. His heart is in the right place, as proved by, among other things, the fact that his favourite movie is The Sound of Music.
Press junkets are a living hell for Hugh Grant. This entire interview was fawning and star worship. Not one intelligent question. Hugh Grant wasn't interested in that 30 years ago, and he still has to put up with it now, He is a highly intelligent man who needs intellectual stimuli, and without it, he gets grumpy. I suspect he would far rather be at home with his family than doing these iinane press junket interviews, one after the other, for hours.
