Thank you very much for your comment and for subscribing!
Very interesting. I live in the UK and currently invest in the S and P 500 distribution. Since I visited Japan, I have noticed this weakened yen and have thought about investing into a distribution ETFs that is the Japanese equivalent of the USA, as you stated in the video. Would I still need a foreign savings account and a visa?
Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment.
If I understand your question correctly, you want to invest in Japanese yen from abroad. Is this correct?
If your stock broker gives you access to the Japanese market, you might be able to do it without too much hassle. I reckon Interactive brokers permit this kind of operations. However you are exposed to currency fluctuations, which may be an increased risk.
@@AEconomiae I do investing through Vanguard and have an ISA account. Vanuard lets me invest in FTSE Japan UCITS ETF - Distributing (VJPN).
Thank you for your reply. In your case it appears that you could just use your Vanguard account and would not need to open a local account

Thank you so much for your kind words!
Can you recommend any app which you use in India to invest in any country?
Hello. Thank you for watching and commenting. All I can tell you is what I personally use: Interactive brokers is the service I use, is available in India, and gives quite a wide access to world markets. Please check if that fits your needs.
I want to invest my money but I don't know how and where. Can you teach me.
Hello, thank you for your comment. Unfortunately I am not a financial advisor and therefor cannot teach you how to invest. However the video you just watched is a good starting point. Please look at our investing list and money management list to get more ideas around the order to invest your income, ETF investing, crypto investing, real estate investing and more.
Thank you again
Can I get any visa to be a trader in japan?
Thank you for your comment. Trader (I do not know if you are referring to finance or business ) might fall under specialist visas. I am not a specialist so I would recommend reaching out to your local Japanese embassy based on what is written on the following page of the ministry of foreign affairs: www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/long/index.html
How to invest in private KK companies of Japan plz reply me!
By private Japanese company, do you mean unlisted ones?
In that case you would need to work with an investment fund and private equity. This is usually easier if you are a qualified investor. I do not have connections there. If it is listed companies, then a brokerage account would be your first step
@@AEconomiae Yes i mean unlisted companies of Japan do i have to invest in private equity funds than but how can i invest in one specific unlisted private company in Japan!
@@AEconomiae Yes i mean those companies which haven’t gone public yet which means they are still unlisted on the stock market!
In this case you need to be an accredited investor and work with a private bank, or private equity fund or the like. Unfortunately I do not have access to any
@@AEconomiae Okay fine thanks for providing me this information but what sort of Private banks do i have to work with in order to get my job done!

Hi 👋🏽. Do the crypto platforms in Japan offer English language as an option or they are only in Japanese ??
Hello, thank you for watching and commenting.
I can confirm that both Liquid and Bitflyer have English language interface. Coincheck does too.
I am a foreigner in my 50`s living in Japan (J wife and daughter). I have 3~4 million yen to invest. Any suggestions? I may go home in 4-5 years since I own properties and have other investments abroad.
Thank you for watching the video and commenting.
I am not a financial advisor and cannot give you specific recommendations. The amount is too low and the time period is too short for real estate, in theory.
The new NISA account could be an option to invest with interesting tax deductions (dividends and capital gains). Broad base index funds and ETFs are usually best for most retail investors and available via the NISA accounts.
Depending on your other investments, it could be a good option to diversify your holdings. I assume you want to invest in the Japanese market.
Alternatively, if you do not need the money as part of your emergency fund, time limited cash deposits in US or Australian dollars could be interesting given the high interest rates. So banks over one year and up to several years.
Please note that your tax situation might influence the above.
@@AEconomiae Thank you for that and apologies for not mentioning that I do understand you're not to dispense financial advice willy-nilly. Given my situation, all points at NISA (all my family members have already applied) and LCDs in foreign currencies indeed. I am happy to report that my country does not apply double taxation and I do have emergency funds as well and additional pension funds in both countries. Thank you for what you do and keep up the great work!
