okay genuinely.. in would love to read an explanation about this claim since i have listened to several videos from her after i saw her in "have i got news for you" and found her quite rather charming and nice (well at least compared to that dragon lady on the other side) and some times funny.. so i looked her up and saw that she is in deed a comedian. so far so great.. so i watched some clips and i am still wondering about this .. since i do not find her particular funny or entertaining. most of the stuff she tell about is normal everyday more or less "normal everyday stuff" noone is really cracking up about..and after i viewed this clip i cant even remember a single joke or funny punchline.. to be up front, i do think women can be funny as hell , my sister definitely is, she brought stone face super old, settled german engineers to tears laughing.. and not out of pain but laughter.. she has the possibility to just tell things in her calm and settled voice about her life that just let you piss your pants.. .. and she refused to go to comedy .. but this lady? i have a hard time even following her jokes, since i do not even know half of the references she gives.. who was that lady she was referring to in her last punchline with the nightclub bar?

Russell Howard does this all the time, brings in a new Funny Face and next thing YouTy is burnin' through with new talent. and it screws the algorithm and all I see is Russell Howard and Brit Stand Ups....you have the power. you can FUCK the Algorithm, by watching the same shit over and over and over...especially the same show....try it today!
nah this is from ages ago, must be someone else cos she also mentioned doing an edinburgh show run about a bad breakup , past tense . there's nothing wrong with saying partner. if you're not married, all you've got left is 'boyfriend' which is a bit schoolyard..
Heard her on radio 4. Absolutely terrible. Her complete repertoire appeared to revolve around how she was saving the planet by adopting a child and not having her own, she then went into great detail about her menstruation cycle... Fucking hell.... If this is comedy I think we're all fecked ....
Sigh..Kiri... if you're reading this.. and it's just a personal opinion...your act was great... not many female stand-ups make me laugh.... not in a "only blokes should do stand up" way... for example I love Jo Brand, Rita Rudner, Gina Yashere, Jo Caulfield, Joan Rivers etc etc...your act was great.. till you used the C word at the end. You could have used the word "ar******s" for example. It's a word I never use and even as a Royal Navy sailor of 23 years service, I never used it. I don't care about swearing.. but that was too much. Costume. Hmm.... it was taking too much attention away from the content of the act.... I kept glancing at the pretty colours and sparkley bits :) Best of luck in the phenomenally difficult world of stand-up. Sorry to be sensible.. but I really do think you have the potential to be a really good top line act and I hope you see this as constructive criticism.
