"Do not open this door if there is a horse being treated inside." There wouldn't be a rule like that if somebody didn't break it already. I wonder what happened.
sometimes horses have surgeries while standing up and not laying down and don't let a tv fool you a horse a fill up that entire room. The horse might be on anesthetics, but if someone or something comes barging in and it feels threaten it will buck or kick or even in rare cases rare up and hurt itself or anyone around him/her.

I hardly cry but when I heard he has to lose his eye and I saw gesil tear up I couldn't hold back..

Having had a one eyed horse and now dog, let me reassure all of you that they are incredible at adapting with a single eye. What is hugely important to remember, is that with increasing eye pressure, the pain becomes unbearable. So rest assured that Spot will have instant relief and will welcome his 'new' eye. It was absolutely the best thing that could to return him to playing and feeling good again!!!

Since they basically are, he’s raised them from birth. Must be so heartbreaking to see Spot go through that.

I watched them since their birth...Spot you make me cry 😓😓😓😓...but am happy he is doing better
I cried n I only seen videos of them since they were born, I can't imagine how Giles feels after raising them as cubs.
As sad as it is animals accept what comes along. As humans we think as if it is us who are losing the eye. Because of our intelligence we understand the ramifications of this , as a Tiger they do not, thank God.

My dog had a similar eye disease and had the same surgery. She recovered immediately & I assume Spot’s instincts helped him recover quickly too. These cats are so smart

i'm fostering kittens that were born with ocular herpes and one recovered but the other sadly went blind. it was horrible to find out, but he certainly doesn't act like he's blind, he's doing the best he can

Made me cry... it’s so touching. As owner of cats, I know that cats can still live a great life even when they go blind, so I’m sure tigers can as well - especially being protected and cared for. Hope they all have a happy life.

The tiger is so beautiful, it's so sad that he has to lose an eye but they have to do what they have to do to keep him alive. And his recovery was amazingly beautiful.
