I'm Swedish and here in Sweden we talk like this when we're messing around and joking, but some people (like my dad) speaks English like this. It's embarrassing.

It's honestly quite hard to speak english in a Swedish accent, the words are more elaborate* to pronounce with Swe language sounds so it takes ages to finish a sentence. *"Elabre" vs "ell-eb-orett", u get my point

^Depends on where in Skåne. You've most likely heard the worst. My mother's half of the family is from the "good" part of Skåne (e.g Malmö, Lund) and they sound quite reasonable.
hOLMBerg Depends on how long they've lived there. For example on CZcams a Swedish youtuber by the name of TheSwedishLad speaks like a regular person from Skåne. My mothers side of the family is from Finland but none of them have a finnish accent anymore cause they've spoken Swedish for so long.
I am from Sweden, and one very simplified way to think of the accents is that northern Sweden is very vaguely similar to Finnish accents in some places, whereas southern Sweden can sometimes remind you of Danish. That's VERY simplified though, and more like a rough "spectrum".
A Swede’s accent can vary depending on which Swedish dialect they speak. For instance, there is ”Standard Swedish” (rikssvenska) which they speak in Stockholm and it’s surrounding area. Another example of a Swedish dialect grouping is the Norrland dialect, which is spoken in the northern part of Sweden. I am from Norrland myself, and compared to the Stockholm dialect, we tend to speak with shorter vowels and don’t put as much emphasis on them.

Yeah I've noticed most younger Swedish people (as well as Dutch and Belgian, it seems) will seem to have a fairly American accent if they're fluent in English. It's definitely from TV shows like you said.

It's refreshing to hear a different accent from my own. I admit mine is odd i have a mix of californian, virginian southren drawl, a little mexican american from my childhood neighborhood. But to hear something other then southern or californian is a joyous treat. His accent is cute and the way he smiles while playing on his accent is also cute.

''Too Swedish'', which is at least why I dislike it. For example when my dad speaks English it sounds horrible, but then there's people like Alexander who sounds perfectly fine speaking English. Important note though; my English accent would not sound like his, since I do not have the 'Stockholm Accent' to begin with. The accents in Sweden differ quite a lot, thus the Swedish accent while speaking English differs quite a lot as well.

The part where he exaggerates his accent, telling the interviewer how his 'real accent' sounds like is the "Stockholm accent." That's roughly how people in Stockholm speak when they speak swedish.
