Its Just 3 Text layers with masking modes.

So I'm able to follow the video, but my issue is that not only am I changing the subject to fit the theme, I'm also changing the background as well which is what I do not want to do. Any assistance?

What did you when u added the texture pack?
blending mode>Screen
when i add the scanned paper with the screen mode it doesn't just add the effect, the image itself stays on top, any solutions?
i recommend that you try some of the other blending modes and find one that works for your image. also make sure that you have the correct layer selected. lmk if this helped or not🙏
