- What's shaking, folks! I'm back with another Roxy Music reaction from their 1973 album For Your Pleasure, and this time we listen to the insane, incredible, and 3-Act song "In Every Dream Home a Heartache." Seriously, I don't even know what to say with these guys anymore, so join me for another crazy tune from Roxy Music. Cheers!
Also I recently set up a Patreon, so anyone interested in supporting what we do on this channel through donation (and getting a little bonus/behind-the-scenes content) can go here. / shnootz

Love song to a blowup doll! Naughty Bryan :D. Love this track, don't revisit it too often....because of memories (not related to the topic of the song lol!)
😂🤣
Bryan Ferry’s inspiration for this was a collage by Richard Hamilton called “what is it that makes today’s homes so different, so appealing”.
Bryan asked the band to play a psychedelic ending to the track. To my ears it at least partly resembles the closing of Axis bold as Love by Hendrix.
A great way to close side one of an LP.
Bryan Ferry was one of Hamilton's students.
Sonic magicianship. Way ahead of their time
The fade out is because the song bridged sides 1 and 2 of the vinyl.
And tracks 3 & 4 on the 8 track tape. Yes, I'm really that old!
A masterpiece. Lyrically and musically.
"Your skin is like vinyl.." Well, there's a very good reason for that ;-)
It’s strange that you mention The Smiths, another band influenced by Roxy. Morrisey is on record as saying the only truly great British LP is For Your Pleasure and Jonny Marr has played and co-wrote quite often with Ferry post Roxy.
bizarre, disturbing, messed up, fucked up, about a sex doll!!! 😮😂
Where did Jello Biafra get his vocal style from?
Oh damn, that's a fair and intriguing question! One might wonder whether he was inspired by vocal work from the likes of Ferry.
@@mattsnider2667 check out Melvins cover of every dream home with jello on vocals
Great musicianship follows though
please react to Over you by Roxy Music next, much better than this.
