    Great Job you are very thorough,I do most of my maintenance myself on my Honda and I really hate taking it to some shop as they usually do a half ass job example they us the same rusted out cotter pin I remember I took my car to this one shop for a rear brake shoe and drum replacement and I purchased all the hardware springs and factory shoes and drums and later had to adjust my brakes a year later and found out that this shop didn’t replace any springs even though I purchased these brand new springs this pissed me off as how some shops are so half ass and lazy even though I paid for their labor

      Hey thanks @mikethompson3534. I'm the same way with regards to doing it yourself. We all depend on so many things to get by in our day to day existence, that knowing how to fix as much as you can is in your own self interest. We will continue to make videos on any and everything we fix, so I hope you find our content consistently helpful! We've got more CRV stuff coming for sure, but also ATVs, generators, trailers, etc... Stay warm out there people!

    Only 6 years kind too early for ball joints 😢

      Agree. I was surprised until it dawned on me that my wife is as hard on vehicles as she is hard on me. I'm on my 3rd knee replacement since being married and have started to connect the dots...

    My 2015 Honda CRV after 180,000km, front driver's lower ball joint worn out. Should I just replace one or both front lower ball joints need to be replaced at the same time? As my CRV is AWD.

    • @OmegaReady
      @OmegaReady  Před 3 měsíci

      They don't need to be replaced at the same time, but at that mileage, I probably would just do it since your already all set-up for it. I dont believe that AWD has any impact on it unless you suggesting the additional weight may wear them out sooner.

    • @jingwang7952

      @@OmegaReady Thanks a lot! So I can just change one, my dirver's lower ball joint? Or it is better to change both? Usually How much mileage the lower ball joint shoud be changed ?
      As I did not notice that issue, my alignment has a problem due to that. My all season tires and winter tires, for the front wheels, one side became bald. I was told that my winter tires and summer tires are all gone. A lot of money due to that issue.

      @@OmegaReady I terms of lower ball joints, should I purchase them from Honda dealer or after market parts are still fine?

      @@jingwang7952 OEM is best, but the price always hurts. Check out Rockauto.com. They usually have a great selection and prices.

    Why dont you use that recliner in the background as opposed to your blue folding chair? Looks a lot more comfortable.

    • @OmegaReady
      @OmegaReady  Před 7 měsíci +1

      That recliner is only used for drinking and watching football! The blue chair is for deep thought & reflection on my bad choices in life. As you can tell the blue chair gets a LOT more use!
