    Thank-you for the basics concepts for HRM, I am a psychologist, just recently graduated and I've been studying most of the HRM courses within my major field and psychology it's like we learn about human resources and its a Human Resource course as well. Right now Iam working with bigger state own Enterprise company and I believe and i work and perform towards HRM thinking that I am an HR graduands and I am still learning while working. I hope I'll become HR manager in that company I worked today. I downloaded your videos and watched your videos over and over again so I can be knowledgeable with the HRM basic concepts so I can perform to that standards. I believe andI love Human Resource and working hand in hand because people are the one who makes money in the company and growth of the company it self. If you do not make friends at your work then How you will have a good connections with them ? Because at after some point you will feel Isolated and no one wants to talk to you and you will not grow in the company . . . because in order to have a good reputation and promotion you have to build a strong friendly relationships with your colleagues as thats how they will give a good feedback to the upper management . . . Second I have tried to be like just (No friends) at job then I felt very isolated and alone and no one wants to talk to me . . So it is very challenging to be HR because you have to create a Distance with no distance

I always pay attention to employees, wonder when they went on break, I’m always thinking about what’s fair for the employees including myself I don’t care about being friends with any of them. I care about everyone getting along and doing their jobs so we can all have a stressless day

    I have a question. So it is obviously difficult to get a job as an HR manager right after finishing your bachelor. Wouldn‘t however make your situation easier if you for example do you bachelor in economics and right after that make a master in HR (plus some internship so that you can have higher chances)? Or should you still nonetheless start as an recruiter and than become a manager?

Thank you so much!

    • @CarmenGilFraguada
      @CarmenGilFraguada  Před 2 lety +25

      Honestly, a lot of the HR laws are learned on the job as you work, especially during big HR meetings. But I also took it upon myself to familiarize myself with my state’s HR laws that were relevant to my specific job role. For example, when I was a recruiter I learned what is illegal to ask during an interview & what isn’t. With that being said, I honestly wouldn’t stress too much about learning every single law beforehand. My psych degree really didn’t me with HR in that aspect, it all depends on what you want to do post-grad.
