Custom PopSocket Phone Grip with Real Flowers and Resin

- Let's customize some phone grips like Pop Sockets using real flowers and resin. This is a fun and easy way to decorate your phone and use it as a stand and phone holder. We will be using a small silicone mold to create resin disks that is perfectly sized for pop sockets. In each disk we will embed a beautiful flower.

@@NinaAndGalj I tried that. It was slippery and didn't stick well. Plus I made a clear one and you could see the super glue behind it lol. It was a mess lol
Put it in while it’s curing. Be sure to scuff it up with sandpaper and clean with alcohol, then just gently push it and stop just as it hits the resin.

What kind of resin do you use? Seems like you had no bubbles at all!
I find that in thin layers, most well mixed resin have few bubbles, especially if you quickly flame it or use a heat gun.
Would it work if I put a picture in it too? Something that I print out from the copy machine using normal copy paper? Or would it mess up soaking

The mold I got was just a tiny bit smaller than the pop sockets, and I made sure each flower I picked fits before I added them.

Hi! What kind of heat gun do you use?
I use a generic one I picked up at the craft store. I think they're pretty much the same.
what are the two things you mixed for the first layer ? was it just resin?
The resin comes in 2 parts, resin and hardener. so you have to mix to get the chemical reaction.
