If I wanted a Queen song to dance to or cheer me up it would be Don't Stop Me Now. I love it.
IMO if we could tell Freddie Don't Stop Me Now is the 2nd most played Queen song he would very surprised, I believe his personal favorite was Somebody To Love.

There are so many Queen songs that are underrated. Its just sad some people only listen to their greatest hits

It's like Brian's Bohemian Rhapsody, and even in the same album as Bohemian Rhapsody, but somehow... it's hardly ever mentioned; even in the film (they mention one of the most crappy Brian songs instead).

I think it certainly helps that it was released in the Spotify era - since the majority of their discography would've been thrown on Spotify without any sort of 'release', it sorta makes sense.

no one really talks about how amazing the last 3 full queen albums are, The Miracle/Innuendo/Made In Heaven are some of the most beautiful and powerful songs ever written by the band

the miracle i agree with, and parts of innuendo, what i dont agree with is made in heaven like the only good songs would be: made in heaven, i was born to love you, it's a beautiful day and mother love, and only one of those four is actually written for the album

Sheer Heart Attack was the first record I ever bought and Brighton Rock is the reason why I’m a guitarist and bassist some 48 years later!

Queen II is Queen's most underrated album. Show Must Go On is my favorite Queen song, and Hammer To Fall and Innuendo deserve more streams.

Surprisingly, zero Roger songs in the top 10. Radio gaga came close at #11.
Also surprisingly, only 1 Brian song - We will rock you at #5.
Which means that most of their biggest hits were written by the only two guys who aren't members of the band anymore.
John Deacon has 2 songs in the top 10 that are fully his - I want to break free at #7 and Another one bites the dust at #3. I say fully his because Under pressure was his original idea, but everyone got involved eventually. Still, it was originally conceived by him so I'm giving him 3.
And of course, the most beloved, the most famous, and the most dearly missed Freddie Mercury wrote his short and simple, but wonderfully catchy Crazy little thing called love at #10, triumphant and in-your-face We are the champions at #9, delicious and easy going Killer queen at #8, brilliantly composed and his personal favourite Somebody to love at #6, fast paced and electrically energetic Don't stop me now at #2 and finally, the impossible, the otherworldly and the most timeless piece of art, Bohemian rhapsody at #1, making the tally of 6 songs.
Rest in peace, our dearest Mr. Fahrenheit, our beloved Melina and our favourite persian popinjay. We miss you!
About under pressure I think it was only really the main riff that John came up with, but in fact roger did most of the work in making the song
Under pressure is more of a roger song, in fact, they used Feel Like (roger song) as the base for the final product

I, being a bigger Beatles fan than Queen fan (though I was a Queen fan first), am going to use this as a response any time I hear someone say something like "Queen is more popular the Beatles now because Queen's top songs have more streams." I'd then add that The Beatles 40th most streamed song has 100 M streams but Queen's 22nd most streamed song only has 100 M streams.
Though I wish that both bands were more popular nowadays.
Not that they aren't popular, of course.

Was it all worth it at #145!!! One of my fav queen songs. I guess it is obscure but it is the hardest rock song I know by queen. Thank God this video might up the listens on it.

Some hidden gems here. Number 60 is one of my favourites, as is 51 and 40. Number 36 was a UK hit single. Reckon most of these choices are made by casual listeners, rather than real fans. 🎶❤️

This shows this groups music is timeless and very few if any bad songs by this group. 'A Night At The Opera' is their best album by far. 'Innuendo' doesn't get enough love. Probably because it's heartbreaking as it's their final album (Made In Heaven was released after Freddie died). Glad to see some love for 'Keep Yourself Alive'. I can't watch the video of 'These Are The Days Of Our Lives ' as seeing him so gaunt and frail just makes me cry. Throw in its a very sad song.
I remember when he died. I was seven at the time and my Dad who is a huge fan of the group (and Freddie) was absolutely distraught. Their music has always been a part of my life and always will be til the day I die.

A couple of years ago when they uploaded a lyric video to "Thank God It's Christmas" to their CZcams channel; I think that's what caused a boost in the exposure of that song.

Hammer To Fall there's an album version and a greatest hits version, but since both of the songs are titled the exact same I thought they'd have the same amount of plays, but turns out their plays aren't combined

Such a legendary discography. Truly I'm sure if Freddie was still with us he'd STILL be penning amazing tracks and him, Brian and Roger would still be touring from time to time. While deaky probably still would've retired at some point even if Freddie was still around.

I like it, I think it's some smooth John Deacon soul, but I was surprised too. By the time it came along I'd already formulated a theory that the later songs on Hot Space were so low because people had already heard the first few songs and been put off (assuming they were listening to album tracks in order). Now, I just don't know what to think. :)

Queen has never made a better song than Bohemian Rhapsody, IDGAF what other people say! Rightfully #1. Although I don't know why Keep Yourself Alive was so low on the list. Same for Fat Bottom Girls (even though it wasn't that far low but where it was didn't make sense to me), those songs rock!!
