Enjoyed that mate, nothing better than a great day on naturals at the lake. It’s put me right in the mood to get out again! 🎣

Great video Allen, never seen a hatch like that for ages. I’am fishing Menteith on Sunday so hope the wind calms down and hopefully get some decent fishing on the naturals. 👍🎣

Excellent video, can I ask what fly line you're using. It looks straight unlike any of mine. 😂Needing an upgrade as mine it goosed.

New sub. Just discovered your channel today. Only just watch this vid. Going to catch up over weekend and watch your others. I hope there as good as this one. I my self are from SW Scotland. So not had the chance to go as far north as you have . Heard so much about this water. My preferred method straight line buzzer. For me nothing better than dry fly. Forget the rest. Plenty fish showing on this day you were there.plus very calm. What rod u using. Is it a greys. Noticed the greys reel. 👍Good choice is it a 300 or 500. I can't remember. I use the same one. I also have the same but the 700 version all alloy. I just bought a new greys gr60 10foot 7 weight. Only for drys and buzzers. I broke my last rod recently. Had it since I started fly fishing. Greys greyflex M2. 10 foot 7/8. Broke tip section. Grrrrrrrrr. Hence gr60 buy. I think its going to be good replacement. 👍 .

Just washing line methods pretty much all day, switch between fab and boobie on the point but think all but one fish took the buzzers, I just use a standard Greys floating line, had it for years now
