Today I review the Stihl 36V Pole Saw (Pruner) I bought a month or so ago.
Battery tools have come a long way in recent years and this is no exception. Stihl is known for bulletproof performance in their fuel powered equipment and they have kept it up in the battery range.

good review of this tool and especially insight on benefit of owning vs. renting. i've gotten away from most 2 cycle equipment because I am tired of the hassle with gasoline engines. Plus I just aged up to 76, so not a big fan of doing more work on equipment rather than on grounds. live in New England USA. so far the Stihl kit includes: HTA 86 which has 10" bar; MSA 200CB replacing a Husqvarna gas chain saw, an FSA 90R trimmer also replacing a 2 cycle trimmer and an RMA510V self propelled mower because i have more trees and brush on my land than lawn. Benefits: practically zero maintenance, no hassle about fuel mix, storage, oil rags and all that stuff. Plus if I can stay above ground I expect to be using this stuff into my 80s and beyond.
