You can either go to “Keep my files” or to “Remove everything.” ...
Choose what you really want to “Just remove my files” or want to “Fully clean the drive.” Choose either of both options.

STUCK ON BLACK SCREEN??- I shut the computer down and retried the exact steps again but instead chose to remove everything and IT WORKED! Thank you! (F11 comes up with different options, you have to do the restart and hold shift)

@ozzey6385 hold it before you push restart, then keep pushing after. It took me like 5 or 6 tries before I got it. Good luck!
Got it on first time
My laptop couldn’t recognize my face sign in, and for some reason inputting my password option was disabled. No way of signing in! Thanks to this method I got access to my laptop again and without losing my files!! Thank you!

Can you believe when I clicked "save my files" it went to another page and asked for my damn password!! I couldn't believe it, I nearly fainted. After reading all the comments and your video, I was confident. But it asked, still can't get over that.
So what I did was just done the process again and removed it all, instead of keeping the files I got rid of them and I done a full clean. (I haven't got barely anything on there so wasn't bothered) so other then that and it's going to take abit longer (which again, I'm not fussed) as its been nearly a year since I've used it.
It is currently resetting 🎉
If anyone gets that password page like I did, just do the process again but get rid of everything and do the deep clean option and it won't ask for it.

This worked for my laptop it’s resetting the PC but my laptop came up with my name on it before it started the Reset this PC now it says free up some space so I’m starting this all over it says it’s resetting the PC again.
Update: Thank you because you just saved me $100 dollars or more here… thank you it worked
