- The king is dead, long live the king! Developer Torn Banner Studios and publisher Tripwire Presents today announced the launch of the next free content update for Chivalry 2, Regicide, available now on all supported platforms, including PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), the PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5 computer entertainment systems, the Xbox One family of devices, and the Xbox Series X|S console systems. Regicide takes the ongoing war between the Mason Order and Agathia to an epic new map culminating in a clash of kings, while adding a versatile new polearm, regal new campaign pass, new cosmetic customization options, and additional bug fixes and quality of life improvements.

@@raskolnikov167 A pillar in the chivalry community. He has a youtube channel if you want to see. Unfortunately a month ago he passed away. Some speculate his death was because of his perma ban, because he critized the game of having too much hackers. He also organized charity streams and events, and was a coach content creator on youtube.
Rest In Peace, I remember seeing him around.... he'll be remembered.

@@robfus had a few games last night, it is doable if you rush it a bit. But yeah, that really depends on the team balance as usual.

@@TheAtomicWarrior I could not, because the "goedendag" is from a specific region in Belgium. It's famous for the battle of the golden spurs (which took place in Kortrijk, a city I don't live that far from), which is in West-Flanders.
Belgium consists of the Flemish, Walloon and then a small German speaking part in the east.
As we are a small folk, I will not let credit be taken from other regions! *raises goedendag* (especially since the walloon part is french speaking, and the battle of the golden spurs was against the french :p )

So I get the final section is going to be Argon vs Maulrick(definitely spelled that wrong), but let’s be honest in reality it’s just going to be one or both of them being swarmed by the other team.
they’ll both have tons of health and buffed weapons though so the other players really don’t make a huge difference, we already know argon can take a spawn wave by himself no trouble on thayic

@@sassystoner Can confirm that Malric is not only tanky af, but his sword can also one-hit several knights in a single (heavy) swing.
he's immune to stagger, and even if the swings are blocked they take anywhere between your entire stamina bar (archer) to at least 30% of it (Knight). I reckon the same holds true for Argon on that map

Wait I thought the Tenosian invasion would be a more pressing concern since they’re on Northern soil now? Plus this feels like this is supposed to be the end since now we got a Malrick and Argon duel.

There is infact a Tenosia invasion. Thats why Malric says:"he dares to strike now!?" The masons forces are divided defending the land while Agatha only concern is self sabotage. Masons rule, Malric is true king while Argon is a self entilted brat. DOWN WITH THE LION!

Wishlist for future customisations:
A cape for knights with the heraldry display of your choosing
Horse armour and heraldry customisation
Potential customisation for the horse lances. You do gain levels with em, so why not put some cosmetics behind em?
Banner customisation, perhaps? Planting one with your heraldry on the field as your support ability. Would be nice to show different groups fighting to rally under those banners.

@@robfus no they always make the maps timeline accurate , when you join a 64 player match the games are in order of when they happen
@@robfusit wouldn’t make sense to split the timeline , they will either focus on tenosia and the winner now or will go back in and add maps in between the other ones , or it is the last map
@@loganfore in chivalry 1 they did it. There would be maps with either masons winning timeline and Agatha winning timeline

@@KalebOfAxum12 horrible management of the game, crippling hackers problem on EU, and banning of one of the most important player in the community, Soter Dave, wich unfortuately passed away. Not only that, but devs being lazy in fixing game breaking exploits and bugs.
@@captaincs8440 I will agree that the management of the game has been… subpar. But as for your other 2 points, how would you have them solve the hacking crisis. It’s hard enough with how outdated most anti cheat software being outdated, and those who do get banned can easily find ways to circumvent their bans, so I wouldn’t fault them for that. I’m not informed on your other point so I can’t say much but I’m sure there was a reason.

Map is so unfair for attackers played more than 10 matches only passed the gate once
So far for me attacker always loose at the blow up the statue. Literally you reach last phase only if masons let you.
For me personally Agatha seems to get to the epic duel part but thier Argon player isn't on the same level as the Malric player and gets beaten around.
@@isaiahaguilera7710 there are several reasons. It seems Malric has more hp then Argon and also Argon must put himself way more at risk because he myst lead the charge to open thd way to his team. If timer reach 0 Masons win by default
