You make good points. One thing about the hygeine part, I found out that retail and actual stores also sell items that are returned as brand new. So we really don’t know who has touched the items. So a lot of times you really don’t know if you bought a new item that was returned…LOL…Sometimes they even sell the models that are on display and are touched by people…Just thought I would share that with you. When I found that out I never looked at new items the same way…😂
Very true 👍🏻
I do love vintage tho, giving items a good clean will often suffice 😅😃
@@leebeaute Completely agree with you! Always clean your items whether they are used or new. Vintage bags that are in good condition can definitely be brought back to life with a bit of cleaning, care and attention. ❤️
Also I tell you by working in luxury retail for 3 years already. Most of the time the shoes you buy were already tried on by a couple of clients or returned . You can’t even believe the gunk and grim some clients leave in the shoes after trying it on🤮 Same with handbags you could be taking a handbag that has been returned and be put back in stock or touched on and off😖 don’t get carried away by the “I only buy new because is clean and hygiene” you can easily be the lucky one and can’t even tell. This is coming by a worker in the industry! The Behind the scenes of the luxury industry is not that chic once you go past the fancy shop levels the stock rooms and the operations not that fun!
I agree with everything! Just in the past 2 weeks, I’ve seen I don’t know how many videos from people thinking they bought real bags and they were actually fakes. I had to go to some boutiques for repairs, it’s so much easier when you bought it from the boutique where you have a relationship. They don’t fuss and give you the best service. And like you said, when we don’t like vintage, the price difference is absolutely not worth it.
I absolutely agree!!
I totally agree with you and your points. But I have brought most of my pieces preloved and I enjoyed them just as much or more because of the great deals. I have the store experiences which have been awesome also.
I was in Turkey recently and had a empriente multi pouchette with me. They show me a kislux bag and it looked just like it.
HEY kislux !! I have been watching you for years and im so proud of where you have made it! I love you so much! Also thanks for making my day
Totally agree with you.. I also prefer to go back to the SA if there's anything I need to do with the bag like an exchange, repair, clean it etc. Eg Dior, they provide lifetime cleaning service. That's one good reason why I prefer brand new.
Great video, you hit the nail on the head. I would be up at night giving my pre loved item the side EYE, thinking it a FAKE.
All good points. For me would be the smells.
I couldn’t agree more, I got speedy 35 and Chanel double flap from preloved, I just sold speedy and Chanel is on sale too
All valid points, however after 30 years of luxury store purchases, the experiences now are subpar. Sometimes the long Q’s will put me off! 😅
All very valid points
I try to get everything new from the store and even Hermès quota bags.
I felt this wonderful feeling in my mind, body and soul when she said “I prefer kislux
100% agreed
