This is not a permanent fix , just trying to see if it will hold. I do not encourage anyone to fix any vehicle this way. DO NOT DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME
@@Pops-wl3iy it won't last. Cold welding even with JB weld wouldn't work well for thermostat and nearly any auto parts. Even car body. This is why replacement is the best solution. Normal welding solutions could work for years but they definitely make the surface ugly. I would rather take parts to machine shop like I used to. They have cleaner solutions the assembly.
@@Pops-wl3iy I took it to an auto parts repair shop and they welded everything. The only issue is only sealants work now. I will be replacing the thermostat housing with a brand new one. It looks better than gluing things together.
I repaired the inside of a motorcycle light, that was made out of aluminum after crashing it. I held for three years until I sold it! Great stuff!
It sure is Great Stuff. Still holding for me
man I just did a hair line crack on mine. hows this holding up ?
It was in two pieces used some J B Weld and it's still holding to this day
Hope you have good luck with yours
This won't work. Take it to a machine shop. They will weld pieces together.
