I have a scan n cut and love it. I only buy dies now for the same reasons as you do. 🙏😍Congrats to the giveaway winner! 🎉.
It really is a great product!
Congrats Gillian!
I wish I had invested in a Brother Scan n cut before I brought my Cricut maker! I hate fussy cutting also!
What an awesome giveaway prize. Congrats on your first 100 Liz! Here’s to your future success❤
Thanks so much!! ❤️ I Love my Scan-N- Cut, and it helps when I create my own cut files as well! 😁
i bean want a scan and cut for cople of years i havent t one but in the future i hope i will thanks for sharing congrats to the winner👍
Start saving little by little, and you'll have one in no time!! #noregrets
What I do for sentiments, is very similar to what you said.
But I only do it one time.
I stamp several sentiments of that stamp set onto 100 cardstock.
I trace an outline and I have the machine scan it and check the cut line and have the machine ignore the letters I sent that to my laptop and I save it with the name of the stamp set.
To try it, I start over by sending that cut file to the machine and have it cut it. Then I have a permanent template that I can put in my stamp platform.
And when I need several of those sentiments either for my cards or to use them to give the sentiment height (as in foam tape), I select the one I want from my laptop and multiply it how many times I need. I have the machine cut them and I just place them inside my template and stamp. I hope that makes sense. It is a little bit of work but I think it is worth it specially if you are going to die cut the sentiment many times.
Super smart, and I have definitely thought of doing it, but like you said, it's a lot of setup time, and as I don't mass produce any single card, foes not make sense for me. But, this is very informative, and I hope others also learn from your setup as well! 😁
I’ve been on the fence thus far purchasing a ScanNCut. Waiting for a good sale, but it’s been at least a year now. I’ve also watched lots of demos & questioned if l’d be wasting $$ as l like the detailed edges & detailed cuts inside die images. I appreciate the time you took to do this demo, especially that you pointed out it will cut directly on the edge of an image, as l color the white edge of die cuts to match the background. Very informative, thanks for this! 👏🏻🙏🏻💖👍🏼
Thank you! I'm glad this was helpful for you! I have no regrets over this purchase and find it very useful!
@@letsgetlizicle My b’day is coming up in a couple of weeks so l’ll give my hubby the hint! Thanks for the encouraging “arm twist!” 🤣😂
@debschurby1574 lol! Love this!! Hopefully he gets the hint 🤞
Congratulations to your winner i love my scan n cut just for fusy cutting and my maker for other things tfs hugs
Yes! This saves so much time and money. Love it to pieces!
I like seeing the possibilities of the Scan-n-Cut and other such machines, though I haven't purchased one yet. I'm sure Gillian will be ecstatic with her winnings. I know I would be. You're well on your way to 200 subscribers -- and many more.
Thanks so much, Lucy! The Scan-N-Cut really is the all in one machine! Even today I am still learning some of the features after 5 yrs of having it 😉
I would love to hear about your tips and tricks with the Scanncut
I could work on that for the new year!
@@letsgetlizicle cool, I got my brother Scanncut a year ago and am slowly trying to figure things out, I have really appreciated any videos I can find.
@arlenewaddell np! I'll schedule one for January! Anything specific, or just a bunch of different topics?
@letsgetlizicle Do you have any experience with SVG’s or print to cut, have you bought any Disney files? How do you deal with cardstock sticking/separating? How to get a smoother cut. Just some questions I’ve had. 🤷🏻♀️
@@arlenewaddell that's amazing! I can answer most of those questions. I will plan a video soon!! Thanks for the input 😁
Hi I'm the runner up , I have email you
