Afternoon Shane... Loved the Abbey. THE SMUDGE...... Wath wasn't that bad, obviously a bit dark, but on the whole an ok place for a mooch.... I'm still laughing about you saying about the looks you were getting holding that MODERN THING called a CAMERA..... Perhaps being the outback of nowhere they'd not arrived with such technology 🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊 there. Looking forward to the next episode of "THE SMUDGE" there's going to be good, bad, better & in different one's dependent on the location each week, but bear with it...... DEFINITELY entertaining. Hi Alan, the Abbey actually surprised me. Knowing how small Walley is I expected the abbey to be tiny too 🤣 WATH wasn't too bad to be fair, seems a nice enough little town. Think next time I'll get there earlier so I can check out the lake and nature reserve. Didn't half get some funny looks vlogging though. You're right though I will get some good and bad places. I wish you'd come back to Wath in daylight and have a wider look around! A couple of things to note: We generally say 'Wath' like 'Woth' (as in moth), but locals also pronounce it the way you did. You're right about the taking photos thing. I like to photograph Wath and always get funny looks doing so!
One day I will come back in the day as I did want to see more but got there late. Would love to take a proper walk around the lake and the wetlands too. Thanks for letting me know the correct pronunciation too. Hope you enjoyed the video all the same. Cheers 👍

I find that you can't say the word bastard now without thinking of Sean bean 🤣🤣 Those Abbey ruins are really impressive and could quite easily spend a couple of hours there just chilling. Think I did arrive at Wath a bit late, I'll give it another shot somewhere down the line lol What will north Yorkshire bring I wonder lol. Glad you enjoyed it bud, cheers 👍
